I have the egg nog / rumpop that has the picture of the nun on the label (I wonder if you know what I'm speaking.)

Oh--
Merry Christmas.

(we celebrate ours on the 24th-- and do nothing on the 25th. Although-- I will be working on the 25th, so kudos... I get to celebrate with the family, and skip out on the family drama the next day.)

Aint that bad-- I won't be working for the rest of the week (unless... they really need people) because they'll be paying me a whole lot more today.

And-- as much as I love Christmas...
I hate the drama that comes with having a bunch of family members coming together. Just the other day, I saw some BS between my mom and dad.

And I'm glad that I dodged out of that bullet by going to the store and staying there for a few hours.

Night time cold medications contain antihistamines, which make you goofy. Daytime ones don't, which means you don't get as tired, but they also don't work as well.

It's now 5:00 PM (central standard time), and according to the firefox weather plug-in around 43º F/6º C, though with it being so freaking bright and sunny out today it kind of feels like T-shirt and shorts weather to me.

People tend to look at me weird when I tell them the cold doesn't bother me, because I am the type to walk around in this weather in short sleeve t-shirts and the like. I used to work in the frozen foods department of a grocery store wearing khaki slacks and a polo shirt, these scrawney little fucks running around complaining about 43ºF being cold don't know what the hell their talking about.

Night-time cold medicine usually has an extra ingredient in it to help you get to sleep, like a mild muscle relaxant or something of that nature. UNLESS... you're taking daytime cold medicine, in which case I can't say. For all I know you've gotten a hold of a really old bottle of Robitussin DM.

I wonder what kind of people you would see in a gay bar on Christmas day... hm...

Larry the Cable Guy had a bit on his Christmas album this year which I think is highly appropriate for this conversation, apologies in advance.

The first queer santy clause,
Wore red leather chaps
And a pair of white shorty shorts
That had a hole in the butt crack...

Oy, remember that time you said that you used a mod when playing Rome: Total War for increased realism, and then I suggested you started playing Europa Universalis III if realism was what you were looking for but that it unfortunately didn't feature any Romans because the game started in 1453 (probably not, because I think you said you were getting drunk that evening)? Well, I called the developers, pulled some strings and now they're making Europa Universalis: Rome (more screenshots). The preceding sentence might or might not reflect the actual events that occurred before the developers decided to start working on the game. Anyway, just wanted to let you know.

It was in poor taste, I'll admit it. But the idea of a gay Santa Claus in chaps made me chuckle.

I really want to work on the New Year... that's gonna be a bang.

I'm probably going to wing up doing the same thing I did last year; stay home, have a few drinks, and be in bed by 12:05. What a wild party animal I am. WEEEEEE.

I'm looking at a website that sells incense (I'm after some that was scented like Curve cologne), and they have some that is scented like Cinnamon Buns. Didn't Mitch Hedburg make a joke about burning incense like this once? All his stoner buddies with the munchies got pissed at him because they thought he was making baked goods? Seems rather cruel to me...

It was his stoner roomates. He wished that they would wake up with false hope. He would also put baked potatos in the oven even when he didn't want one because once it's done, who knows?

You haven't seen a John Pinnette special, then.

"I can say 'I'm starving, feed me,' in 37 seven languages. I can sign it hieroglyphics if I absolutely have to, just in the off chance I get transported through time back to Ancient Egypt."

....

Upon further investigation into this website, I have found that not only do they sell the essential oils for all the incense they sell (which is about several hundred on up to about a thousand different scents), they also sell the stuff to make and bottle cologne.

That would really mess with some people's minds, wouldn't it; come into work smelling like Dragon's Blood? Or Nag Champa? Or better yet, Pussy?

My mother kicked me out. She said, ok, you're going with your father now. My brother, myself, and my father said "What?" and then she left.

merry holidays folks

my dad got me some MP3 player (a zen?) and it's small and cute and it installed all this crap when all i want to do is click and drag files into it... :/

we also got lots of wine (we're apparently winos now)

I called in sick at work today :) and I spent the day with my fiancee and then went to my dad's house for "midnight mass" at 6pm, with a very alcoholic dinner (he actually cooked quite well this time)

tomorrow mom is having 'dinner' at 2pm

more alcohol.

and from the 26th on, I'm working until late January with no days off ^_^
