OUCH--

My friend's neighbor is a stripper, and oh boy-- ouch...
My friend tells me on the phone she had a huge accident. If anyone of you have been to a strip joint, then you know what I mean by "upside down spin."

Well, I guess just when she's reaching down the floor-- her wrists somehow twists and she hits her full face right on the floor. Not with a lot a force I imagine, but-- I say it's falling on your face if you're doing a handstand, so maybe-- a foot and a half away?

I know this stripper too-- we used to go to San Jose City College for Intro to Argumentation years ago...

That's basically a marriage--
In some states, it's actually considered a common law marriage if you live together for five years or more. I'd be looking into that if I were you, mal.

We have been dating for 5 years & we moved in together in 2005... so in Nova Scotia that is a common law relationship. If you have been co habitating for 2 years.

Hate to change the subject, but god I think we may either need to ban 9/11 threads, or I need to just be hooked to some machine that will electro-shock me if I click on them. They just illustrate everything that's wrong with this forum, and internet debating in general.

Yeah, 9/11 has reached that point of pot legalization, gun control and the like where there's not really anything new to say. But I do think we could get you a gag ketboard with a tazer in the scroll lock button.

To me this is more about the pig headedness of all involved. You have the people that don't buy the conspiracy showing the conspiracy nuts all the evidence, and the conspiracy nuts fumbling around and calling them "sheep" and saying how intelligent they are (never mind that ALL of them call people who don't believe the same thing, so yes, so intelligent). Then the arguing just goes on and on for pages and pages getting nowhere as each side tries to prove the other is stupid. Complete waste.

On the bright side, if he did, at least it wasn't yours. Never fun to share an account with somebody and people are pissed at you for no reason. I remember when I used to share an account on this one site with my brother...oh, the less said the better. Just constant instances of "what the fuck is up with that thing you did the other day?"

That would be quite entertaining. You could have a website! If you advertise the site with a link in your sig, you'll get lots of traffic; many would like to see a mod under electroshock. I'd enjoy it as well, not because you're a mod, but because I'm a little sadist.

There's about 10 threads a day I'd love to see locked, either because they're 9/11, WWII, abortion, or religion threads.

You get up to 15 per day if you include the threads that inevitably dissolve into one of the above.

Like how to beat radar guns, or breathalizer tests, or speed cameras or the lie detector on the episode on now. Which is why i'm doing this now
You could beat the speed camera with an expensive and ostentatius rocket car. Also, after the guys both failed the lie detector tests they concluded that someone else might be able to do it so they ruled it plausable. Why even do the test at that point?
In short "I regect your reality and substitute my own" is basically Matrix agent slang for "Accept our reality."

I'll be spending the weekend in Pittsburgh. I'll be at a wedding, and then just hanging around. I work the late shift tomorrow (today?) and then I wake up at 7 to go. That'll be fun. :/

I guess you could technically call the friend I'm staying with my boyfriend, though I have to wonder. Ever had two people fighting for your affection at once? It's not that pleasant of a situation as you may think. I'm still figuring things out.

LOMG!!!!

Google as a new "Scholar" feature that I've totally stumbled upon, and I'm totally in love with...
That's the most useful thing a student can use for his or her school papers.

What I like about it than the scholarly database I use is that-- I don't have to register every time I want an article.

Since I'm writing a paper every other while, this feature will be totally indispensable to me. I hope this will help everyone else too.

You just found that? I've used it, but I'm not a big fan of it.
Mainly because it's brought me some bogus searches before (books having nothing to do with keywords). But hey, whatever works right?

I'm actually pretty comfortable with the Merlyn library system Umich has got. It's fun to find a book through that system, and then spend an hour in the library trying to actually find it to check out.

Cheers for the stacks. Perfect place to get lost in, sleep, or have sex in.

Totally an ass person :)

Besides, most of the Jewish girls I went to high school with had big breasts.

And for the academic crowd and their discussion of Google Scholar and Merlyn and such...may I humbly recommend Zotero? It's a Firefox extension that's designed to help with research and bibliographies and such. I love it. They developed it at the Center for History and New Media at my university, but it's used by a lot more than just Mason students. It automatically recognizes journal articles and book citations in your browsing, and will give you the option to save them. It also allows you to take snapshots of pages and save them for later, organized in folders. I think it's fantastic.
