I got an A on my paper discussing how love was portrayed as a disease in Catullus and Medea (both the Argonautica's Medea and Euripides' play)....

Then got an A writing a critique of a professional scholarly article about the similarities between Catalogues and "andoktasiai" in Homer.....

%wise I think I actually got 94% on both.

aaand I believe those are the only two A's I got all semester.......yup......unimpressive, I know. I blame senioritis.

Now that I think about it, except for two or three subjects, I have no idea how my final grades are... :\

I was reading through the past few days of Sinfest strips that I've missed, when I came upon one that reminded me so much of the other regulars here that it almost wasn't funny.

I just did a google image search for captain planet...and I found that. I think it's actually from some deviant art user. Which would be amazing since whoever created it has a lot of talent.

Something that's been bothering me for a while now is the phrase "For all intensive purposes." Specifically, the widespread use of it despite its non-existence has been bothering me. The actual phrase is "For all intents and purposes," but people have been getting it wrong far more often than not recently, for some reason.

Think about it. "For all intensive purposes" doesn't even make sense. What is an "intensive purpose"? It has no meaning.

Paper due today that I'm not finished with, 8 pg paper due tomorrow that I haven't even finished the book for, 8 pg paper due on Monday that I haven't read ANYTHING for, test monday in a class where I'm 2 weeks behind, and a test tuesday, the last day of class.

This is all BEFORE finals week mind you, during which I seem to only have one friggin test.....mierda.....

I've stayed up the last 48 hours and will be staying up probably tonight as well or more doing work straight and I'm wasting 5 minutes on Newgrounds to keep some semblance of sanity.....

I don't recall ever having a cold progress to a sinus infection, I just am sick for a couple of days, I drink lots of OJ and watch daytime Animal Planet shows and try to sleep more.
