Well ''meh'' to you all, my 1,000 posts and one year here!

Well......I had Team Fortress Classic more in mind at the moment. Pete's Avanti/Dustbowl's user.

Or even better, BattleField 1942!

But of course, Halo will do very nicely for our purposes.

What the world right now needs is a sleeper hit game: The one that nobody knows about before it comes, and then proceeds to knock off your shorts in amazment.

All games nowaday have too much hype surrounding them.

That was hardly a sleeper hit: It had plenty of hype surrounding it, just like all GTA games after #2.

Mafia is out right now? W00T, gimme gimme gimme!

You know what tastes good? French Onion Soup. Not the pre-made stuff, the real thing, with some cheese and a baguette in it. Aah, nothing better on an icy day.

I've always loved Video Game Music. There are few experiences in life more enjoyable than blasting away enemies with your eyes firmly stuck to the screen, and hearing some sweet, sweet, sweet music.

But now? I can (sorta) listen to the music that I love? For free?

http://www.vgmusic.com. Ahhh. The closest I can get to the real stuff without actually recording the stuff right off the cartridge or disc. But it truly is a crime that there's no Metal Slug there. Damn you SNK, why'd you have to close?

The best kind is when they come in a bread bowl with grated cheese on top. I'd kill for one of those.

It was a beautiful, snowy Sunday morning when I woke up. The odds for school were diminishing by the second, all of this adding to my happiness. There was a mighty hunger in the pit of my stomach, and I knew only one thing could satisfy this longing -- French Onion Soup. Not the pre-made kind, but the real deal, the forty-minute oven cooked kind. I popped in the soup and patiently waited, glancing a few times at the dog who was waiting equally patiently for the same soup. Everything was grand. 40 mintues later, 400 degrees of French Onion Soup sat on the oven rack whispering "Eat me, Max, I'm nice and tasty."

Then I grabbed it. With my bare hands.

400 degrees of evil, demonic soup latched to my hands. My ring finger temporarily stuck to the handle. I saw images from the Book of Revelations. The soup transformed into Satan and laughed at me from inside the oven. I let out the kind of scream you only hear during child birth and dunked my entire arm in a vat of ice water for no less than sixty four Martian days. The numbness was pleasant, but soon wore off. I was relieved to find the damage was restricted to my right ring finger, which is now a lovely lobster red.

The moral of the story? Just because the handle is cool on the stove does not mean it is in the oven.

The End.

And now I shall laugh at you wussly northerners, shivering under your Canadian and American flags, burning your hands on soup, all the while while I kick back in nice, ungodly hot Santa Cruz. W00t.

Nice to see you've gotten back on, hopefully you're in a better situation now.

BTW, I am now completely in love with GTA3 and Vice City. I'm beginning to use the word GTA in my normal language, such as: "Don't make me go GTA on your ass", and "I'm about to GTA this bitch".

In reference to your sig, FUNK, was there finally a conclusion to "Best politics regular", or did you make that decision unilaterally?

One time I stole Howard Dean's newspaper, and then all day I heard him screaming to his family "WE'RE GONNA GO NEXT DOOR, AND WE'RE GONNA TAKE BACK THE SPORTS PAGE, AND THE COMICS, AND THE BUSINESS SECTION, AND THE OP/ED"
