None taken. My only criticism is that the way the game is set up, it's damn near impossible to get a perfect score because the map is to small. The closest I ever got was like 70 kilometers away from the Sphinx in Egypt.

I agree.

I did horrible with it. My mouse kept getting caught on stuff on the desk or in it's roller contraption and I'd miss by like 200km or some shit. that map was tiny.

I just don't understand that logic.

hmm...not much for that. but I sometimes put a shot of spiced rum into some V8 splash if I'm drinking it. You can thank Poxpower for that one.

I'm not one for shots, really. Not to mention, living with a hippie means no coke to mix with your rum. also, orange juice and rum don't mix too well.

328,650 was like 10k from passing level 9. You can generally pass through it pretty easy if you know about where the country is. :/

You know, I think it's interesting that RG hasn't posted his score for that geography game. I wonder why that is...

fed the snake tonight. this time I didn't hold the mouse so high up...she took it so quick I didn't have any time to let go with the tongs, she ripped it right out of em.

Then I went into the kitchen and when I came back i spooked her or something and she got all defensive and started squirming away (well..actually, since she's a snake she sort of just squirmed the other parts of her body all over on top of it while she squirmed her head away) and started crawling and poking her nose on the wall and following me as I sat down on the computer next to the cage.

I assume she eventually ate it as it's not there anymore and there's a bulge in her belly or neck...or, well, I can't quite tell what...I'd say her elbow. (waterboy reference)

awesome. I'm almost retarded.

Keep in mind it's late but let's be honest with ourselves here, I don't think the average geo IQ would really be 100 for this test. I'd say the avg. person would get around my score, but knowing actual 'average' people I'd argue even less than it.

the whole idea of an IQ test is that 100 is average.

That's where I thought it was too.

I have a friend whose ex-husband is from Bolivia, and believe me, it's in South America.

I don't doubt it for a second, now. ;-D

I think I could punch out my brother right about now. There's this rumor going around work that tomorrow, those who will be closing shop for the night will have to stay over to help setup for Black Friday (because we're closed thanksgiving day and won't be able to setup the night before), and my brother is attempting to aggravate me by repeating said rumor.

There's just two things wrong with this picture; one, management has been sending everyone home early this week so they can have extra hours to work over on Friday without having to pay overtime (how thoughtful of them), so why would they want to screw that up by having everyone work over on the night before? We don't have a night stocking crew, so more than likely it will all be done during the day, especially considering that the lights are set on a corporate-office-determined timer set to go off at 10 P.M..

Second; I would dare say that about 90% of our Black Friday promotional items are already set out, and have been for several weeks now, with very little of it selling that well. Even if they did have us stay over, I sincerely doubt we have THAT much left to put out.

Even if I'm not visibly showing it, I am nervous about tomorrow. Friday I could care less about, I'm betting on all the home-improvement husbands on either staying at home if they're off work, or being home after 12 Noon because they were exhausted from getting up at the crack of dawn to shop the Sears Doorbuster Deals and the like.

Oh how I'm contemplating doubling up my meds this evening...

reasons why black Friday happens:

"lets go shopping during our break, honey"
"erm...are you insane?"
"what? why? we have the days off!"
"yes, yes you are insane. no."

Steve was in the kitchen and a Kohl's ad came on - their sale is starting at 4 a.m. - and he called out, "Hey sweetie? You're not...like...one of those Black Friday people, are you?"

He looked troubled.

For a second I considered telling him it was my favorite thing ever, but instead I told him the truth - I'm agoraphobic and I hate shopping, so Black Friday is like the worst day of the year for me. Most years I don't even leave the house.

we had traveled to Boston to have thanksgiving at my fiancee's sister's place and traveled home that day. When we got to the nearby city she decided it'd be a good idea to stop by the mall and try to find a wii.

bad idea.

Russia was pretty easy since most of it is wasteland, almost anything they will ask will be on the western edge. Anything on Africa though really threw me.
