there's a post card that I've seen in the grocery store where I grew up that had "Keene Valley Weather"
with 4 pictures taken on the same day at different times
9am had bright sunny, blue sky
11am had big fat heavy snow flakes
2pm had heavy rain.
also, I turned a 4 page essay in to a teacher last night at class...
yet I found the only copy I had printed laying on the kitchen table this evening.
what the hell did I give my teacher?

Not jason statham dude. This guy is better known as the sidekick cop from gone in sixty seconds

Yes it was. I think that scene with the armored cops is from that last level in contracts. Odds are he won't whip out a minigun like I did.

I think it's funny.
I'm percieved to be a coffee snob. People think I'm the type of guy that would go to starbucks, complain about the age of the beans and the ground, it's complexities etc etc.
But I can't tell a cod's head from a Mocha Latte Expresso or any of that other crap.
So, the moral of the story is.
Be a man, drink coffee and I swear to god that I will hunt you down and rip out your throat if you have anything in it with the words lattee, frapocinnio or anything else in Fritalian.
Between the idea And the reality
Between the motion And the act, Falls the Shadow

I don't drink espresso, my fiancee doesn't drink coffee.
she complained for a very long time to get the damned catraption because she wanted to drink "mochachinos" and only once had one...
I do brew myself coffee on occasion, but I'm much more apt to boil myself up a pot of tea.

I hate coffee. It has always tasted horrible whenever I've tried it in the past. My breath smelled bad afterwards. It never woke me up sufficiently in the morning. I must be immune to stimulants or something.
The only decent cup I ever tasted was at the Café du Monde in New Orleans, and that was with an incredible chocolate-drizzled Beignet, so I was in a good humor when I drank it.

the problem with getting a machine is i'm afraid i'll be tempted to down as many espressos as possible and see if time stops like it did in Futurama...or if i get a heart attack, whichever comes first.

economics will keep you from doing that
because espresso is expensive
and after you buy the machine, you'll have even less money to buy said espresso.

HOLY SHIT THAT LOOKS DIVINE!!
Also, our school is having a fry-bread sale next week. Everyone drowns them in powdered suger. The majority is blown ALL OVER an ENTIRE table or is snorted.
<_<

Yeah, I've done that. Oh, and do NOT snort ketchup. It HURTS.

i think one reaches the danger zone for caffeine overdose at about six espressos, which isn't that much. would be an interesting, and delicious way to go.
what other delicious deaths are there?

I'm sure dying after slipping into a diabetic coma and losing the use of your legs, and eyesight from eating too much candy would be one

What would be the equivalent of that in cups of coffee? Cause I was on a roll one night to finish a paper.....lost count after about 12 cups....

Been there, done that. Those things are so good man. I don't remember the place ever serving them with choclate drizzle. I remember choking on the powder sugar though. Man, i need to go back to New orleans. Good times.

Espresso has about 60 mg of caffeine per 1 oz serving, while coffee has about 100 mg of caffeine per 8 oz serving. So while espresso has more caffeine per volume, it actually has less per serving. Note, it would take about 80 cups of regular coffee to overdose and die (the LD50 level), so you could probably drink about 500 cups of espresso before you'd die.
Personally I prefer tea.
If you have a -10% chance of succeeding, not only will you fail every time you make an attempt, you will also fail 1 in 10 times that you don't even try.

It was early '04, last time I went there.
Maybe I'm confusing the Café du Monde's delicious ones with the Beignet café that used to be near the Target about a mile from where I live. Not as good, but I think they did the Chocolate Drizzle.
Also, New Orleans Pralines.

Ohyuh!!! Good job Omega.....
Guess my 15-cups of coffee isn't so bad then......
I like tea, but I can't find very many good brands around here in the local stores.
I like coffee a little more, I think just because I'm a little more used to it.....
