Yeah, where the fuck is my Daylight Savings? I mean, I went to all the trouble of changing my clocks, and it's still dark way too early.

daylight savings has been pushed so far back in the year that unless you have a clear view of the western hemisphere, it's going to be dark by your drive home. When it was created it helped farmers, because it meant that 5pm was still in daylight...but it's so late in the year now that it's just not useful. and really, it was more helpful in october during harvest time

And quite simply, some guys just don't look good bald. I know I don't... and I found that out the hard way.
Gather 'round children, grandpa's gonna tell a story...
About two or three years ago I went with my mom to get a hair cut (her treat), and normally I get a long buzz... the dresser/barber will usually use a #2 buzzer on the sides and a #4 on the top with a fade in the back. On this particular day, however, I forgot which buzzers they normally used. So I told them #1 on the sides and #3 on the top, which took less than a minute for them to do and the hairdresser was laughing the entire time (""THIS IS FUN!!! WEEEEE!!!").
I walked in looking like Harry Potter, and walked out looking like Curly from the Three Stooges.... in the middle of January. And that wasn't the worst part of it, either; ever since then the hair on top of my head has grown back in thin and wiry, and you can see my scalp in certain parts. Male Pattern Baldness finally decided to attack me.

Candy Corn on wikipedia. It kind of has a waxy consistency, and doesn't really have a definitive taste.
I don't know what a twinkie is either.
Twinkie's on wikipedia. Not much to say, there.
Daylight savings time; It's always dark when I get home, so big whoop.

Candy Corn Dildos. Either it will be a big hit with you're friends, or they'll never buy you a bag of candy corn ever again.

That sure is a lot of pedagogy...
Improv, by Keith Johnstone, is the only book I use when I make lesson plans. Funny thing is that it's a book on Improv theater, but-- I've found it much more useful than other pedagogical sources.
It's so wise, perhaps the only book I've had to buy twice because the first one wore out.

A lot of mine is in boxes right now, and as I get closer to the move I'll be packing more and more of them. I'll need a new set of bookshelves in the new apartment, since as it is they don't fit in all the bookcases I currently have.
I have so many that I was able to separate them out fiction/nonfiction, and the nonfiction books are sorted by subject matter. I didn't go Dewey Decimal or anything, but it's more than a little OCD.

Ahhh books......
The reason why "proof" on NG is a stupid idea.
I have one box with me right now, maybe 30-40 of em crammed in there, and another at my grandpa's house. Just didn't have room for em all in my apt this year......

I don't get this. You're talking in math. If you start buzzing like a fridge, we'll have to call the Karma Police.
Does that mean, that, like, one of your grandparents is dead or dying? If so, too bad. Deep condolences and friendly hand-shakes and hand-waving.

I was at my sister's house last weekend, and somebody gave her boyfriend a block of Wisconsin cheese as a gift. She asked me if I wanted to try it (which I did, I wouldn't pass up good cheese like that for nothing), and lo and behold... it was Habenero Pepper Jack cheese.
It was good, but I was negotiating with God on the throne the next morning that he at least would me get back to bed first before letting that cheese kill me first. He must have took pity on me, because I don't remember much else of that morning until I got to work that afternoon.
Here's the website of the brand itself, if anybody is curious.
