glad to know at least somebody's camera notices me v_v
Der_Lowe, In University you still need some basic PE credits...like one class per year. I took Rock Climbing and Yoga for mine.
I never minded PE in high school. I always enjoyed it really, mostly because I was piss poor in regard to the rest of the soccer and basketball teams, but against my class I was the fastest runner and one of the stronger soccer players...which isn't saying much considering my class was out of 13 and we only had 3 boys in our class and a number of the girls didn't participate in sports, so it really only left me, my best friend and maybe two or three of the girls who actually competed with each other during PE.
Though I often dreaded PE on a game day...I had a bad habit of getting my energy for the day out in PE rather than in the game. But on practice days I enjoyed running myself to the ground by the end of practice because I liked the work out.

a community college and I'm in the Liberal Arts: Humanities, Social Sciences (Thats what my Associates is going to say at least)
but even for my fiancee's Physical Therapy doctorate she's been looking up universities like Northern Arizona, Franklin Peirce, University of Colorado, etc... have core credits with at least some PE, usually in the first two years.
My forestry major typically has those requirements in the universities I've been looking at as well.

Maybe you need it, but at most schools it's not required.
Having spent two days a week since mid-August wading through my school's undergraduate requirements for people, I am intimately familiar with them, unfortunately.
But a few schools do require phys ed courses for all majors. I had a friend who went to Colgate and actually had to pass a swim test. Go figure.

That's gonna make me happy?
I'm near 30 now...
But anyways, I got a new job since yesterday and it's very highly aerobic. I like that job.
Plus, I can use the gym whenever I want after work.
But, yesterday I was so tired I just went home.
But, at least I'm moving. Desk jobs are the worse for me. Especially when co-workers bring candies and treats. Then you eat out of boredom.
blrg.
This is my 3rd job now...

It's the producer, Diego Gwirtz, who hates appearing in front of the camera, so he uses that mask.

So, there won't be a huge Halloween event at San Francisco's Castro Street. Halloween is like practically the national gay holiday where slutty gay men can wear slave-and-master gear and their straight slutty women friends dress even sluttier. Cancelled...
This year, I even prepared to go for my first time. I was going to be a hippy...
I guess I can pass out candy...
It's just that, other places are so stuck up like Club Papi.
God, when some Mexicans go queen, they're bitches in the most grandiose sense of the word. That's why I don't like to go there. Plus, I don't like the White guys who frequently go there come up to me and call me "papi." (Or my husband, which sort of makes me much more uncomfortable.)

speaking of work outs. My fiancee and I went to the school's gym today and did some working out of our own.
I'm not one for weight rooms, never understood how any of the machines work...but she took a Physical Conditioning class last fall (as part of her PE requirements) and knows how they work for me.
she showed me ones that did all this stuff and after making a fool of myself walked over to the dumbbells and did all of the same stuff with just 2 of them instead of 5 machines.
I feel good, since I've not been able to go out running or play any sports since I graduated high school. my upper body is much stronger than I expected, I guess from throwing canoes around all summer.

Yeah, free weights are great. The lack of isolation gives you more "real" muscle growth. Let's arm wrestle
But I admire your courage just going into a gym. Those places always make me feel like there are judging eyes everywhere, and I mean more so than I usually feel that.

well, typically i'd hate it as I'm easily embarrassed in that environment and so is she, but if she's just as embarrassed as I am and she's going in there alone every other day already, I suppose I can too.
it's not a big gym and there wasn't anyone else there at the time. but their treadmill machine is right at the front doors of the sports complex, right next to the large ceiling high windows...and she runs on them alone too. she's a brave girl

I wouldn't worry about being intimidated at the gym. One of the big rules for people who to gyms regularly is to recognize that it's not a competition and everyone's there because they're trying to improve.

I don't know how much I weigh or how tall I am.
My guesses are 1.67-175 m, and 60-70 kg.

Who says my food doesn't taste good?
By "good diet" I didn't mean that I eat nothing but extreme health food. My father is a superb cook; we have fish, chicken, pork, beef in all kinds of delicious and healthy ways, ie. cooking only with olive oil. I do enjoy eating fruits and vegetables, I have them for snacks all the time. I especially am fond of oranges, which keeps me from getting sick in the winter months. I eat little to no junk food.
Stir-fry, chicken alfredo, Grecian fish stews, salmon in dill sauce.
Very nice.

I don't understand why the hell would a Chilean cable station air that show. "Boludo! La Susana y el Pipo y el Pelusa Chupalaverggi se fueron a hinchar a Pepe Conchetumaddri y le sacaron lo que le hizo la Silvina en el show de la Mirna! CHAN CHAN CHAN CHAN!". I like that Petinatto jackass better than Pergolini or Tinelli, though, I guess. Not that I know much about either. But that show's not meant for foreing broadcast.

Well she never was more than Lagos' puppet, to be honest. She was elected based on her tragic life story and her having a vagina, and that's fine and all, but neither of those make for a good President and she doesn't even have the most tragic life story nor the biggest vagina inside the Concertación. So now that Ricky's chance for a second term seems slim, nobody really knows what to do with Bachelet. She's not a god-awful President but she's barely above mediocre in comparison with the rest of the back-to-democracy era.
She has however been lucky considering how the right wing somehow phased off "mischievous evil genius" mode somewhere in the early 00's and now seems stuck on "just plain fucking stupid" mode. I mean you've got congressmen and senators wanting to get the divorce ban reinstated, calling the morning-after pill a work of the devil and a tool of mass genocide, and yelling about how since people now have to line up for half an hour to take the bus it's Salvador Allende all over again and they just might want to bomb the Moneda again, just in case.

Der_Lowe, In University you still need some basic PE credits...like one class per year. I took Rock Climbing and Yoga for mine.
In the U de Chile there are PE courses that you can take instead of a normal elective course, but it's not mandatory. I took Wu-Shu for a couple of weeks before I realized that I couldn't tell the damn difference between Nangchuan and Wang Tan or whatever those stupid poses were called. Plus I don't know why they chose such a gay-ass name when it's just plain Kung-Fu.
So instead I just took a History course from a commie Gandalf look-alike.
Big middle class school, 30-40 students per class; most students also practice a sport, relatively diminishing my skills. Boys do not mix with girls for PE.
I'm one of the worst soccer players I've known, which says a lot coming from a Chilean. I was decent enough at basketball.

That's actually sounds good. You know, funny thing is: I prefer higher-grain bread now that I've been eating it for a few years, and pretty much anything else with a lot of grain in it. I don't know what it is, but I love the flavour. Food that's good for you sometimes tastes good, too.
It's a shame that everything that tastes good, is cheap, and is easy to make is bad for you.
So I'm basically awesome.

The right wing here is trying to passs as leftists, some people are buying that excuse for more blood, and start getting all the young delinquents in jail, because the security problem is quite serious now.

we watched Lion King in my anime class (as contrast) and we talked about it and the class got totally off topic and one girl spent the whole time yelling about how Disney bastardized the original stories that the fairy tales cam from and another girl kept suppressing tears because Mufasa died and this one hockey player started the class with "oh uh...was that a Miyazaki movie?"
