every family funeral I've attended has had collages, videos, albums, mass pamphlets with their picture on it....
we love having our pictures taken as a family.

Don't know about the response time, though.
The colors are great, and it looks neat :)

Yo dadio's.
I'm going to my Jazz fest tommorow in Boston, so I'm working on my beatknick literature and language.
I've covered Alan Ginsberg, Keruac, Vonegaut. Am I forgetting any.

So THAT'S where it comes from.
And now that I think of it, I've only ever been to one funeral where they brought pictures of the deceased to show to people... and it was my grandfather who passed two years ago.
It was weird seeing pictures of the man from back when he was in his 20's, you just never stop top think of someone who always smelled of Gold Bond Powder and original flavor Listerine that you always reffered to as "Paw Paw" as having once BEEN you're own age.

A link to a pic that says Dumpster Sluts?
Ooooooo-- So NSFW.
I remember my friend had an account to streetwalkers who would tell stories. It was similar to HBO's Taxicab Confessions during the 90s. I think it was call "Dumpster Sluts and Stories." Or was it "Sluts and Stories." Bah-- don't remember.
Well, this one girl told her story about hooking up with "Schizer Man."
Apparently, despite that she had drunk massive amounts of metamucil and ate a huge bowl of oatmeal, she couldn't still dump on the man's chest.
So, in the end...
She says, "Go take me to Taco Bell."
I don't know why that was funny, but I couldn't breath because the way she said it made me crack.
Anyways,
I seriously wished I could have downloaded that clip. It was priceless in hilarity.

Don't they have Swedish Crown over there? Man, they have different flavours - although you should try Frikadeller (aka Danish Meatballs, as opposed to Swedish köttbullar), they're much better.

That's the supermarket brand of Swedish meatballs which is, you know, Swedish. They also come in chicken flavour.
By the way, can any New Yorkers tell me if that Swedish restaurant is still around the Greenwich/Soho area (I got a tad hammered, so not exactly 100% sure of its location)?

So I put in my two-weeks notice to quit my job last Sunday, and was told that I just wouldn't be scheduled after the 6th of October (which is as far as the current schedule goes). This means my first day off in over a month will be on the 7th, and I finally get to devote a day to studying so I can catch up on my class work. Huzzah!
Working while taking a full load of Engineering courses is NOT a good idea, turns out.

Yeah, I'm having something of the same problem. 2 jobs + 3 graduate level literature classes + 2 rats + 1 boyfriend + 1 continuously thwarted attempt to write = 0 time for anything.

The 80's song "Never gonna give you up" by Rick Asley was used in an episode of family guy and from there is spiraled into hell.

Sounds like mild heat stroke instead of allergies.
I wilt like a flower...
Every time I go to a place where there is a sudden elevation of temperature, I get headaches, chills, and cramps. It takes time for me to accustume (2 days, usually) before my body gets used to it.
It's bothersome, especially when I went to Acapulco. I fainted almost (I fell on my knees really hard, but I was concious enough to know about it.) On my third day over there.
That was because I didn't get those two days of rest where I would just lay in bed or just try to cool down. I mean, I was in the water-- but, with the sun beating down on me... how could I really cool down at all?
Well, I was pretty much eating ice for the next few days with plenty of water.

I thought since DerLowe was in the southern hemisphere that he'd be going through the late winter/early spring season. I'm probably wrong, but....

My body tolerates the heat okay, I think it's been years since I last suffered a mild heat stroke or anything. But that doesn't mean I particularly like being out in the heat or anything.
At the music store I worked at, it was in part of the historical section of town, and the building itself had no insulation in the walls. You couldn't put it up, really, just a concrete wall on one side and a plaster wall on the other. So in the summer months I packed along gatorade, and in the winter months I carried along an extra shirt.
I still don't think he has a clue to this day as to why he can't keep the instruments in tune. ;-D

Yep, early spring, it wasn't particularly hot, but I'm not used to the sun, and I didn't wear a cap or wet my hair.
I'm allergic, but mildly.

I get one per year, minimum.
And I'm getting worse, because I can't take a shower to lower my body temperature, since there is the water supply is suddenly non-existent.
My face feels as if it were on fire :D

I was looking through the friendsoffoamy.com website, and found out they've been collecting the "Topical Rants" that Illwillpress puts up every now and then. I can't believe I missed this gem, and that nothing was ever made of it.
Also; a skunk just sprayed one of our cats outside. How can I tell? Because I can smell it all the way inside, to the point of being able to taste it. BLEGH!!!!! yuckyuckyuckyuckyuckyuck

I am truly scared of the ex-Gay movement that's starting to pick up wind.
People are willing to perpetually lie to themselves, to their spouses (of the opposite sex), and even their children. I mean... non-doctors are using tools of doctors plus other unconventional methods (such as electro-shock) to fix something that aint broken.
I'm just googling stuff...
it's positively medieval.

i'm sure there must be cases where it does work (i wonder if the placebo effect could apply to this), how much of the change can be attributed to the treatment, who knows. or what if the person is bisexual and after the treatment convinces him/herself that his/her homosexual attractions have been dealt with? would it have any real ill-effects on them?
i wonder how many people are treated as opposed to how many it works for. though i assume those going in for treatment really want to change so its not exactly a very good indication.
i think i had something else to add...can't remember.

Apparently it is now possible to rickroll a browser. What's described in this article just happened to me on Gaia:
http://blog.spywareguide.com/2007/09/how _to_rickroll_a_browser.html
Fortunately, I was able to get out of it before the Javascript started. Going into Windows Task Manager fixed it. Maybe I didn't have a problem since I'm using IE7--apparently this is worse for Firefox.
So, who wants to sodomize these people with a full set of drill bits? I get to go first.
