I'm sorry, R-G, but I didn't read any of that. It looked like a story and to be frank with you, that shit belongs in your user page.
there. I said it.
I'm sorry, but man, making 8 posts in a row like that is nothing more than a post +1 (or +8)

Eh, it was an intriguing story that I enjoyed reading. A bit overly theatrical, but it served to make it a unique read. Considering the propensity of users to post factual stories about their own lives in this lounge, it's only a small step towards fiction. All perspectives considered, his story would be a prime example of fair exception to the rule (of posting stories on user pages rather than on the forum).
Did you actually write that, R-G? All argument about rules and protocol aside, it's an awesome story. Great job. I loved it. :D
It reminds me of something I read in Grade 10, Semester one English, but I can't remember what it was. This is going to haunt me for hours, now.
So I'm basically awesome.

In my search for the story similar to Reviewer-General's, I stumbled upon this. It's a bit dark, and a bit of a hard read, but it's prompted some thought on my end, so I thought I'd share.
So I'm basically awesome.

How horrible...
A person has been murdered 3 houses over... there's a trail of blood from that person's house and right at the play ground, where the victim died. He had staggered... maybe... 2 minutes away.
I pass by that house and that school every day, 7 days a week.
It's pretty cold right now, and I couldn't enter my neighborhood. I went to make a quick run to the store to buy eggs for tomorrow's breakfest. When I came back, there was like 16 cars parked at my house and I start to panic because I was just gone like 15 to 20 minutes and I was thinking all these horrible thoughts. The police man wouldn't even let me know if the people at my house were okay and he's pushing me away forcefully because he can't tell me, "Don't worry... it's the house that's the left to you!"
Not even a week ago, there's was another murder behind my house at Poco Way. I walk through their very frequently.
Although, I'm not scared... but it really bothers me. I commute by bus most of the times. (Yes, I'm very hippy like that... green house gas and all, so sue me.) So, it's not infrequent that I'm walking in through Downtown San Jose or through Poco Way after midnight hours. In fact, I do that a lot especially when a semester or a quater gets near and I need to stay at school for long extended hours.
Just last year, a close neighborhood friend murdered a person at another location which I used to walk very fequently when I worked at the bank. (And he was the good friend... not the supposed friends who tortured me half the times... the friend whom you expected to be the last person to murder in cold blood.)
And a quarter mile away, a woman had been brutally raped and murdered.
This is a most fucked up situation, especially when San Jose had one of the most lowest crimes rates in all of the US (I think we were number 6 or somewhere in the 10s).
*sigh*
Just barely a week,

bloody hell Fli, that sounds fuckin' scary dude.
the last time someone was murdered in the Enfeild, Elmsdale, Lantz, 9 Mile River area was in 2001.
It was a 15 year old took a baseball bat to another kid over , something foolish that got out of hand.
I think they called it a manslaughter, but one guy ended up dead. So the end result is the same.
It had people freaked out around here for a long time!
I can't find it in old news, damn young offenders act. censors anything to do with youth crime.
Keep watching your back dude, I'm glad I don't live in a neighborhood like that... shit last night I fell asleep on the couch & the front door wasn't locked, the truck was unlocked.
The girlfriend woke up this morning & told me I had forgotten to lock the doors. Keys were in the ignition .
Ah livin' in the country... there's something good to be said about it.
Watch your back & stay safe Fli.

Nah, don't wear a belt. Wearing a belt only helps you to lift more weight than you can actually safely lift, and you won't develop the same real-world strength you would by just doing them without extra equipment. Same goes for lifting straps and gloves.
As for saying numbers at people, I'm 5'11.5", and 140 pounds. Compound exercises and shit don't gain you tons of mass, but they're good for overall strength.
In other news, I'm seriously considering making a topic on statistics and data analysis for the politics forum. There's a LOT of people who need it.

I'm 5'8" and 112 lbs., do I win a prize?
Or a sandwich?
IKEA has discontinued the shoulder bag I use as a purse, and my current one is beginning to disintegrate. Which means I may have to buy a real purse. Bleh. L.L. Bean has a casual shoulder bag like my current one, but it starts at like $50 - mine was $8. Which is probably why it's so fragile...you get what you pay for.

In hindsight, maybe posting a link would have been better. But of course you would still never have read it, now would you? Most of what is discussed in the Lounge are personal stories or news, why is it so abhorent what I did; just because I elaborated and exaggerated a bit? If I made 8 posts about something ENTIRELY based in reality, does that remove me from any wrongdoing?
I don't mean you any disrespect or anything of the sort....
Of course not . . . you disrespected me from the beginning when you started with "I didn't read any of that." You could simply have made the point that it belongs in my Blog.

Furthermore I would like to apologize to anyone who was insulted, offended, agitated, irritated, bothered or affected in any way by the locale of my story. It was thoughtless of me and I swear it will never happen again.
Thank you.

I woke up early. Went to work. Just came back and saw the house in question. It's weird to know a murder occured right at the places that you frequently go.
A lot of the blood that was through the neighborhood has been washed away in the rain. It looks like that it's wipped clean. (But we know better.)
He died at Arbuckle Elementary at the playground.
Jesus Christ... what are the kids gonna feel once the police disclose this information to the school and the school sends out letters and start with grief councelors and stuff... Are they going to play at the swings or dodgeball knowing that their play spot has been smeared by the blood of a murdered man?
It's funny because I used to play at that playground back in the 80s when I was a kid.
Anyways... freaky weather San Jose is having. It rained quite a lot today, early in the morning.

I also agree. What in the name of all things motherfuck are we talking about?
Also, I think I started lifting partly because I'm insecure about my hieght. I'm 5'9 (said my weight was 210 a while back) and all my childhood friends grew to over 6 feet. I lifted without a belt for a while but it hurt my back most of the time. I lifted the ame amount I do with the belt so that dosen't seem to have been a factor. Plus I do abdominal work seperatly so that's pretty good for the real strength factor. Even though it is good to have a strong core I feel like I'm doing it more as a vanity point. I want abs damn it.

Same here. I guess I've become too much of a commie terrorist to give a fuck about one side, and too much of a reactionary capitalist pig to care about the other.
So anyway, I just found out that my grand-uncle used to play chess with the leaders of the VOP- Vanguardia Organizada del Pueblo, one of the many revolutionary urban guerrilla groups prone to do the whole AK-47 in the shoulder, plastic explosives, political kidnappings & bank robberies business, back in the early 70's.
