I would just get a new one, frankly. Tobacconists often give away decent ones, or charge a small amount, just to get their store name out there.

Honestly the one I got for free from one of the local shops is ten times better than the $10 one I bought from Thompson.

Ditto, that's the one that's been wearing out. the one from thompson dosen't so much cut the cigar as much as pinch it.

Oh yes, in high school I was a member of the International Thespians Society. :)

I haven't done any acting since 5th grade, I think. n English school we had Evaluations, where we showed our parents all the English we have learned by acting, in English of course.
I liked that school very much, our courses were quite reduced, partly because of the tuition costs and partly to the level we had, so we got to be quite close. I even liked PE.

As I've mentioned I went to a very tiny school where participation in everything was required for everything to happen, sports, theater, trips, etc...

so it's probably no surprise that I participated in theater throughout middle and high-school. I competed in acting competitions my Junior and Senior years. Junior year I made it to the state championship tournament after placing in 3 different tournaments in the capital region. we only had about 8 people who participated in almost every tournament we traveled 2 to 3 hours every other weekend. I did Duo Interpretation with a friend of mine, a scene from Neil Simon's "God's Favorite". There were certain rules that you had to follow; no looking at your partner, no physical contact with your parner, no props. It used to be more strict like you had to hold the script and make it look like you were sight reading, no movement of the middle foot, no turning away etc..

It was really good fun doing it. I was unable to get a state bid my Senior year when I did Humorous Interpretation on account of me being the only member competing in it during each tournament we went to, thus me being entered into Dramatic Interpretation, so I had to make people laugh after the person before me made them all cry.

we called it Forensics, BTW.

I also participated in the plays during high school, but I refused to take parts in the musicals, on account of my lack of musical talent in all aspects...and rhythm....and dance ability..

I had parts in The Crucible, Lysistrata, The complete works of William Shakespeare [abridged], Greater Tuna, and a couple of others. Before I started actually taking parts I did lighting for the plays through most of middle school.

I always enjoyed acting and i plan on participating in local theater groups when life and school slow down a bit one day

I may buy a house in Mexico... 28,000 in US currency. I can get a secondary job to supplement the first and pay it off in 5 years.

I won't live there... but I know that I can live in there anytime I want. I can let my cousin use it to rent it out to people, and the money will go to educating the kid. I can open an account where he won't be able to touch the money till he's old enough. Nobody stays nobody unless you have money to spare for education... and if you don't have the starting amount, then it's too bad for you.

Who knows, I know that everyone lacks a good job. I wanna give the kid a chance, he does, after all have a "fairy" godfather. *Yes folks, you can laugh.* Maybe when he's older, he can have the place... I'm pretty much planted right here in the US till I die.

Dunno. I'm thinking that the only children I will have maybe only the godchildren-- It feels frustrating to think like this... but, at this rate...

Whatever.

I'm still thinking on it...

Moved Io to a much larger tank today after her final meal in her old tank while living in it. her old 20gal will be her feeding tank from now on, well until she's much larger and won't fit in it. She has an old 50gallon fish tank I got from my grandfather's house this past weekend. We went shopping for her new tank today, new heat pad, new climbing drift wood (it's a big one! she still has her little one, she's on it right now..) 2 new ultra-violet bulbs (i sort of broke the 75w one that we already had during the cleaning last night) one is a 70, one is a 60. the 70w one is very hot and emits a lot of light, so I figure while it's hot as all fuck, she can just have the 60w one to bask in if she chooses without cooking herself. of course she has a heat pad under the water bowl for a more constant heat source. We still need to get a humidity gauge and a thermometer since the one left over from the 70s on the tank is stuck to the outside of the tank.

she's been moved to the computer room and is currently glaring at me hungrily despite the little bit larger mouse than usual we gave her today, she just shed last week and is about 2 feet long now. She's now a Juvenile and we can expect rapid growth and larger mice and more spaced out feedings. once a week is a chore, two weeks is okay, once a month will be great...but for now, she's at about a week and a half.

each shed she keeps getting prettier, it's amazing she's not losing as much color as many snakes her age start to do when they begin to grow and their color fades, especially in boas.

now she's exploring some more. I want to play with her some more, but she just ate today and is of course just moved, so I guess I'll let her get settled.

last night when we cleaned her old cage we opened the top and she just jumped in her empty water bowl and just sat there expecting to be picked up in that...it thought it was cute.

She's quite interested in our cat...every time he walks by the cage she has to pick her neck up and look over the edge at him...I used to joke while he was a kitten that if he ever starts acting like an asshole cat we could always feed him to Io

I wouldn't want a pit bull. Not that I have anything against the breed. I just wouldn't want one. I've heard pit bull owners swear they're the greatest dogs ever, but I don't see what's so great about them. Also, many places have laws against them, and if I move anytime soon, I'd rather not end up in the grey bar hotel. Besides, I won't own an animal for a while. Not until I can get by on my own.

I actually believe the Rolling Stones stage I helped set up last year was one of the most difficult/dangerous jobs I've worked on, but I wasn't in charge of that job (nor would I want to be.)

For some reason in trying to P.M. you the page keeps failing to load.

BUt... but... they're so snuggly!!! MIssy the pit bull (not the one covered in scars, a tiny one) is the most chilled out dog... ever. And affectionate. All the tendencies that make a dog "aggressive" are the EXACT same tendencies that make them affectionate. To a dog, brutal violence is the instinctual way of contributing to the pack. If you wish to be social with a dog, then a dog with a strong pack mentality is a good thing.
