I dislike arguements too, but I like condescension even less. I was fine until this last statement really. But honestly, what you said sure didn't seem like a joke, and I was merely arguing the point that was presented, as it offended me and some other folks I know.
The last part was basically a joke, something to break some of the tension and give everybody a laugh. If you would like to be my friend in the future, I'd avoid sentences like this one that sound patronizing and condescending to the reader. :)

Don't worry, I'm Latin, I'm quite frontal when offending. You will here the beeps and the %&/%/%&/

I can't help it, my parents, and grandmother are teachers :)
Anyway, thanks for the advice!

I'm Argentinian, I have an impressive ego (As noted by Empanado a few pages before), causing to tend to look down on men.
But not on women, <3
Also, how come that when I told the same joke not that much time ago, I didn't get attacked?
Argh, I have to learn to let things go.*sighs*

Not really.
I saw the original on CNN. He sounded like a trapped animal that had it's cage suddenly knocked down.
Sanjay Gupta put up good valid points and arguments. And Moore really had no defense for it beyond calling it propaganda.

a man came into the store today and his name was micheal moore...it wasn't the fat film maker moore, but a local guy with the same name. I restrained myself from mentioning the coincidence.
in other news, I found out this afternoon that my maternal grandmother passed away in her sleep last night. I'm at my father's house now, since my sister said we shouldn't go over there since mom doesn't know yet and they've been trying to get ahold of her all day.
and since our parents are currently doing the stupid bullshit divorce style, it'd make the situation seven different kinds of awkward for everyone. But we went to the store and got a few sympathy cards and I'll just visit on my own soon.
If any of you remember my paternal grandfather was recently hospitalized with a cancer scare and other issues. he's fine now, but he's up for some tests. I guess there were a few spots on his kidneys and lung which they need to check out. So he's staying at my father's house until all those tests are done (since going back to Detroit would make one hell of a hassle between getting information from hospitals)

I hope everything gets better soon, mal. :-\
I had an interesting moment at work last night. These three kids came into the shop, and got down a few instruments to play on. They were AWFUL, and did not hide the fact that they knew it, either. They hung out and pestered me for 30 minutes, then bought some guitar picks and left. 30 minutes later, they came back started picking up instruments again to play on.
30 minutes later, they realized their ride had left without them.
It turns out they had come there with their parents to eat at the mexican restaurant next door, and came in to goof around while they waited on their meals. They ate, and came back, then got left. Well, this put them in a mildly panicked state and they started calling home and whatnot trying to get a ride home. They're parents/guardian/whoever told them to walk home, they weren't coming to get them.
They continued to hang around, not wanting to just go ahead and walk home. And they continued pestering me, and being noisey little pains in the ass and disturbing student's parents. Finally, one of them asked me if I would give them a lift home.
I said NO. He asked why, I said "Beggers can't be choosers, and you're parents said to walk home." They got up and left right then, and I was left standing there wondering why I didn't think to say that EARLIER. I told my boss about the whole situation, and he just kind of laughed it off. He asked me to not alienate customers, but I just didn't care at that point.
They did come back today right before I left work, though. It didn't seem to phase them much.

Don't know, they came in 5 minutes before my shift ended today. Which meant the owner had control of the shop, and the dude does have enough of a temper to tell people to fuck off and leave. ;-D

Unrelated (well, not that much really) I... feel... tired...
I don't know why, I've slept and eaten well, and not done anything all day.

He made some valid points, he got Blitzer to admit (albeit unhesitatingly) that CNN is a business and he went on to argue that they were being self-serving. That they were interested in keeping their sponsors happy over their journalistic responsibility to present the news.
I saw the original on CNN. He sounded like a trapped animal that had it's cage suddenly knocked down.
Yeah true, he didn't keep his composure, but not seeing Moore emotive is like seeing Bush not make an ass of himself.
Sanjay Gupta put up good valid points and arguments. And Moore really had no defense for it beyond calling it propaganda.
Here's Moore's point-by-point analysis on Gupta's slightly misconstrued facts , he cites it with reputable sources of course.
I don't agree with his film-making but you'd have to admit Sicko was done more maturely, and it does address a pretty important issue.
I also realize I'm not a regular : [ sorry..

tomorrow is the funeral...sort of depressing how I was supposed to me married tomorrow. it's insane to think of it, that I would be getting married in just 24 hours from now exactly, and instead the family is rearing up for a funeral of it's matriarch.
I had even made sure we both weren't working for this weekend (friday, saturday, sunday) so that we could have a get away, just for Heather and I. but Heather started her new job and they needed her to work this weekend and then the state said she couldn't work until some stupid paperwork was processed in the capital, so now she's going down to Albany (a 2.5 hour drive) alone tomorrow...perhaps I'll surprise her and show up (i don't know how...I'd really rather not ride my motorcycle that far or on that large of a high way...it can barely hit 60mph I can't imagine how it'll be going 70mph) but I'll find a way (my dad likes to ride my motorcycle...so perhaps he'll let me borrow his van or my sister's escort).
either way, odd turn of events that my wedding was postponed, so we made plans to just have work off anyway, but we can't make reservations since Heather wound up having to work and it all lands right onto the day of the funeral of my grandmother.
and just two months ago we were saying how everything was just falling into place all perfectly for our wedding. perhaps we jinxed it.

All of my grandparents are gone by now, but they were cool people. Plus, I have like 10 living grand-uncles and aunts, even though I hardly know any of them. So, uh, yeah.
