Actually, I would consider it a sort of an honor.

My sweetie tried to call me again today and both times, I missed the call. *headdesk* Hopefully he didn't spend too much money on international calls...Says he misses me and wants to discuss taking me next year. Hopefully he calls back tomorrow. I'm gonna put the cell phone by me so I can at least wake up to hear from him, since he's 8 hours ahead of me. I feel really stupid now.

when i did track we'd do a 1 mile warm up, a 3 mile workout (you know, the drills ad up) and then a 2 mile warm down.
that was 6 miles a day for five days a week.
i dont understand how i didn't die, because i ran across a feild today and wished i had an O2 tank.

Hypothetical Situation:
You are trapped in a room with all the leading members of the Bush administration (past and present). You have a gun with one bullet.
Where do you shoot yourself?
I know, I know, no politics in the Lounge. But it's not an entirely serious question ;)

Um, it was a joke . . . . .
You know, since most people would assume that the question would be "Which administration member do you kill?", I made it "Where would you shoot yourself?".
Implying that if you were trapped in a room with Bush and Co. you would want to kill yourself . . . .
Crude liberal joke, I'm sorry . . . .

Nah, don't. Time zones can be a real bummer, and I've done much more stupid things, like drinking vodka with energy drinks. Oh, also with tequila. In the same night. Twice.

I used to run 6 miles everyday during the summer, I like the pain it brings to my entire body, feeling physically tired is great.

Well, I PM'd the owner of the pic and he hasn't gotten back to me, but I credited him. And William Shakespeare is dead . . . . . (yet cited, though inadequately).

I'm sure he'll understand and won't mind you missing the call if he called you twice in a day from overseas. I've been a guy almost my whole life, and let me tell you, that's not the kind of thing guys do for some chump that they could take or leave.
99% chance he calls back tomorrow unless something zany happens that prevents him from doing so.

Lol, at least you did it for a sport. I've been fencing for a while, but I run so I can meet the PFT standards once I can try out for an OCS spot.
and wished i had an O2 tank.

i just dont want heart disease like my father and grandfather...

much less frightening then i first expected. the instructors have even been using me as an example patient (i learn a lot when i'm being the victim) and i'm actually learning stuff.
today we did cleaning wounds (that's a wilderness protocol, since EMS doesn't clean wounds, they just send em to the hospital) we practiced on some raw chicken legs. we learned another protocol, relocating dislocations of the shoulders, digits and knee caps, and had our first video taped, real simulation. it was kind of funny actually, it was basically a group of campers and one was in a car and saw a bee, while another one was doing something infront of the car, the guy in the car got scared and for some reason pushed teh gas, rolled over the other guy's pelvis with the front wheel, and some dumbass sleeping in the truck bed wound up bashing around and having back trauma.
and one girl who was totally ASM, freaking the hell out and gave herself an asthma attack.

Finally. I'm still waiting for the jetpacks though. Come on, they've been telling us about it for more than half-a century, I want to create my own personal jet stream wherever I go!
