In honor of this thread's 1979th page, I've taken it upon myself to commemorate the late Ayatollah Khomeini, who orchestrated the capture of 52 American hostages in in 1979, and their subsequent 444-day detainment within the American embassy in Tehran. Coincidentally, Khomeini may also be directly responsible for the current Iranian government's millitant opposition to anything Western.
Ayatollah, we salute you. And your devious, world-changing escapades.

Blasphemy, how dare you make fun of the Pope when Catholics (imperator) frequent this thread!?
Yay, Obama won. Let's thank his supporters:
-The compliant mainstream media for their pro-Obama propaganda.
-Black Panthers for their intimidation of voters.

Didn't we have a whole discussion about this a couple days back? I think we have only one choice:
We need guns, so that we can erase the hate by shooting all the haters dead. Yep, that'll fix everything.

We should all burn all our guns and grant amnesty to all illegal aliens and pay all African-American people who have slave ancestry reparations and bring all our troops home to be with their families.

I remember seeing someone play an alphorn on the lawn of the music building at my university one spring. It was surreal.
And I've finished the first of the three papers I have due in the next few days. I swear, next semester, come hell or high water, I will not allow myself to get this far behind.

July 9th, 1996. That's 10 years, 10 months, 2 weeks, and 1 day to the day that I last had shellfish in any way, shape, or form. That was the day I found out (the hard way) that I was allergic to shellfish. Red Lobster's Shrimp fiesta.... 8 different kinds of shrimp....

I went off prawns for a while because some made me very ill on my 10th birthday. That gave way soon enough, though.

I'm not allergic to shrimp or prawns, but they make me sick sometimes. We think it might be an iodine sensitivity, because prawns are very high in iodine.
