Sounds like the vents into the computer are blocked by something, not neccesarily dust... perhaps you've got it positioned to closely to a verticle piece of your desk? Then again, it could just be the temperature of the room itself. If it's like in the upper 70's I'd look for somewhere else to keep the comp.
Oh, and get Webroot's Spysweeper program. :3

so i have this fungus in my skin
makes me have red spots all over the trunk of my body.
it doesnt do anything except look gross and itch in some cases.
i only have it because somehow i'm not immune to it.
and it'll come back over and over again for the rest of my life.
if i actually had a tan, the spots would just be very pale in contrast.
i spent an hour sitting in a fucking gown waiting for my doctor to look at me. he comes in, looks at it for two seconds and gives me a prescription. I MISSED HALF OF MY TWO HOUR MASSAGE i was supposed to have. and because i was late, some lucky fuck got a six hand massage. :(
either way, im getting this cream stuff. it makes it go away, but it'll come back again some time.

I think part of the reason I didn't pick the game up easily is that I can play the guitar for real, and I keep trying to transfer skills that don't actually correspond.

It took me a few minutes to realize that you actually meant that and you weren't just transcribing the lyrics of the latest Linkin PArk song.

You can play guitar? SEXY.
*cough*
Anyway, I do understand where you're coming from. I've been playing for about 7 years now on an amateur basis (I still can't shred ala Yngwie), and I think it would be a mindfuck for me to go from full fretboard and 6 strings, to five colored buttons and a "rythm sensor."

It's a bit of an adjustment, I'll say that much.
I've been playing for almost nine years, though I confess I haven't kept up with it and I'm very rusty. I recently gave my electric guitar away to someone who would actually play it, but I still have my acoustic if I feel like it.

it doesn't bother me, it bothers Heather. She made me go to the doctors because it spread to my back and then to my neck in the last couple of months.
it started where my stomach creases when i sit down, and spread around my stomach, moved up to my chest and eventually to my back and neck, but its no where else.

One of those cheap-o ones you buy in a kit at Costco, a Yamaha F-310.

i really wont care if it comes back. he gave me 5 refills of the cream, if it comes back, i'll just use the cream, i'd rather not feel sick when i wasn't even feeling sick with the condition.

so did you have the white spots on your beautiful bronze skin, or were you like me and got the red ones because of the lack of actually going outside...ever.?
totally.
so, your conditions is completely safe, no long term effects, no sickness. might itch when you're sweaty...so i'm going to give you a medication for it that will make you feel like shit. oh, by the way, eventually the condition will come back.
plus, having Heather put it on my back is payback for having to give her foot massages all winter.

I just looked it up, and it doesn't appear to differ much from my korean made Springfield, but... costco? Ouch.
Well, at least it's Yamaha. If you ever decide to sell it, the name recognition alone should get you a couple extra bucks out of it. Much more than if you would have bought a *gag* First Act.

I don't plan to ever get rid of it. It only cost my folks $150, so I can't imagine I'd get much for it anyway.

Most you would get out of it is wholesale + or - a few bucks, so it would probably be in the $40-$60 range. But hey, I'm the same way you are; if someone stole my springfield or if I was forced to sell it, I would be thoroughly depressed. It's no martin by any means, but it's my first guitar, and has a lot of sentimental value attached to it.

What was it?
One time, I thought I had the same thing on the sides of my hips.
Turns out that they were hairs that didn't break through and the best remedy was to exfoliate the areas everytime I shower.
No problem sense...

i wonder if generous, not to say exaggerated, doses of good ol' UV radiation helps avoid and or clear it? don't think fungus is to fond of intense light and whatnot: the only risk is possible skin cancer, yay!

I got in a wreck last weekend, and totaled my car. We were out for a day trip, when we got hit almost head on by a motorcyclist. I got a really gnarly bruise on my elbow, and the motorcyclist ended up with a broke leg and a sore shoulder. Fortunately, traffic was heavy, so neither one of us was going too fast. He had put on his brakes too hard behind a car that was stopping, and the back end stepped out and he slid across the center line right into the left front tire of the car. It tore his bike to pieces, and on my car, bent the left front wheel, tore a piece of the left front quarter panel off, knocked the front bumper off, caused both airbags to deploy, which cracked the windshield, and knocked the frame askew.

As much as I liked my little car, I think it was cursed or something.
— Someone ran into it and did $1000 worth of damage in a parking lot just a couple of months after I got it. Drove away without leaving any insurance info, etc.
— A winter or two ago, I nearly went off the side of a mountain in it after hitting a patch of black ice in a freak snowstorm.
—Last April, a tornado hit, and knocked a tree down on it (and our house).
So after all that, I'm surprised that it was totaled after only getting hit by a motorcycle.

odd thing is, a lot of motorcyclists dont realize that 70% of their stopping power is in the front break. He was probably only using his rear brake for it to skid out on him like that. but then again, he could have also hit a patch of slippery road, or even the line. once you hit those lines in wet weather, there's no keeping you from sliding, they're like latex paint on the road, and when it's wet, its like a slip and slide, not good when you only have two wheels.
