Sorry i haven't been around guys. Alot has been going on over here in NY. First off I have been really ill. My tonsils got so inflammed it was hard to even get food down or talk on the phone cause my cough was so bad. The back of my throat started to bleed from coughing and we thought it was strep but i have medicine now so i'm ok.

Other than that my college has been going through alot in the past month. We had a group of kids who made a KKK group called "I'm white and i'm proud" on facebook. They where talking about lynching here on campus. Many of my friends where offended as myself. Our school has been divided up techies & business against aggies. It's sad but it's true. Plus with the events at VT and that group one of my good friends was taken to a mental hospital. Basically he had a photo of himself holding a gun along with his friends holding a gun right into the camera. He was the only one who was addressed by campus police and taken to a mental hospital. This kid is known all over campus and won't hurt a fly. He likes to party and he could talk your ear off. So i've been caught up in alot. I've been trying to just get away from campus or something liek that. If you guys wanna look up anything about it here are links

About my friend one
If the other link didn't work

Living is teh shit.

European history is pretty damn interesting. You get Rome, the Vikings, the bulk of the World Wars... thinking about it, it would include the Peloponnesian War as well...

English history alone is quite good. The Romans, the Vikings...

Then again I'm biased.

So I realized I only have one version of "The Night Chicago Died" on my iTunes, and it's by a British band called Paper Lace.

Doesn't that seem a little wrong, a British band doing that song?

Well fuck, it's not like you didn't earn it.

I get crap like that every now and then from my parents about my weight. They'll sit there and chew me out about my weight, and yet despite how heavy I am, I'm the only one in our family doesn't need medicine for high blood pressure or a special diet for high cholestoral. Or they'll make dumb comments about my guitar playing hobby, despite the fact that none of them can play or sing very well (my mother can sing now, but my dad and bro can't play or carry a tune in a bucket). There's all sorts of hypocritical bullshit that goes on in families I suppose...

Speaking of cholestoral, a little over half a pound of my pepperoni lunch meat dissapeared on the night April 21st, 2007. I know who did it, and I hope their happy, because I'm not going to feel the least bit remorsefull when they get their blood work done in a week or so to get their cholestoral medicine adjusted and the docotr bitches them out for it going UP instead of DOWN. >:-D~

You and I have the same family.

It doesn't surprise me, really. Everytime I think about leaving this town, I log on and am promptly reminded of how fucked up people exist everywhere, not just in my little piece of the world. :-)

I'm still having a hard time trying to understand Malachy's claim of white trash existing in ski-slope country. O_o

I'm hearing you Proteas...
But, my dad was in a pissy mood and wanted to fight... and my husband was being a bitch because of something that I didn't do.

What's worse is that it's a vortex.
"If you don't know what you did bad, then I'm not telling you!"
*SLURP* And you're sucked into mayhem. And you don't know why.

God,
I thought this was suppose to be a "girl thang"-- that straight men only experiance with their girlfriends.
*sigh*

Yeah--
My father has been sneaking in all sort of foods in his diet. He's a grown man, nobody shouldn't tell him what he already knows. But it's the fact he's a uber-hypocrite with the family... The soup has too much oil. This ain't healthy this, ain't healthy that. Yesterday, I made a killer tomatillo-avacodo salsa. Basically-- it's just tree chilies, tomatillos, water, and half an avacado.

And he's bitching how avacados are fattening and... I didn't eat the damn salsa because he ruins appetites. Yet, everyone knows that he's sneaking in treats. But he can't understand that he should eat that salsa with his chicken instead of the fried tacos he buys at the wagon. Avacados are fattening, but it's healthy heart food. Fried tacos aren't.

grumble...

Yesterday, he complained how it was unfair for my mama to be a big woman yet have no health issues. But then again, my mom has always been a sane eater and if she treats herself to something... it's something healthy. Like an avacado or something. When I told my dad that, he got shock and then upset. Because I told him the truth. Only reason why he was diabetic was because he didn't care what he ate... till it was too late.

God bless him...
I hate semicolons... I hardly use them except when I have to seperate a series of clustered comas for the sake of clarity.

Otherwise,
semicolons are useless most of the time.

As an unwritten rule, 500 posts (with a large share in politics) is about when you would be considered "regular"
