I miss movies on tape. I mean you could turn a movie off, leave it for days and then turn on the tape and it would be in exactly the same place. With dvd's it's like you're obligated to sit through it and shit could come up, man.

My DVD player remembers where I left off indefinitely, until I hit stop or eject the disc. I don't like leaving off halfway in any format, but at least my DVD player isn't the reason.

Aside from this GREAT episode of "As the Lounge Turns..."
I don't agree with you Imperator. I don't think people push limits because they're chummy with certain people with powers.
And besides.
This is cellar. He fights and insults, and then feels upset later on with the pinky-finger towards the side of his cheek all the while putting on the big giant watery eye Puss-In-Boots' stare that suggest, "Who??? Me! Naw..."
He's consistantly being banned by many mods. Maus has a point: he's just a a major bitch and drama mama to boot.

Maus has a point, but so did Celladoor, and I'm pretty sure that was lost simply due to the animosity towards him. I wanted to make sure it wasn't, because it was legitimate.
And besides.
This is cellar.
Memorize isn't any better. In fact, he's a self-proclaimed troll (and damn proud of it). I certainly see a whole lot of him, and am pretty sure he hasn't been getting banned consistently. There's the problem, and my complaint. There are others who are equally as bitchy, annoying, troll flaming asshole assclown jackass mother fuckers as celladoor, they don't get booted.

I calls em like I sees em, nothing more. I think it holds up as well, I actively fought and flamed Dre-Man with the express purpose of pissing him off. Entire posts dedicated to simply calling him an assclown. I went after Grammer too, and I've gone after others who are "established". When I first got here I tried to tear off RedSkunk's head, pretty sure I got banned for flaming. Nowadays I can do what I like because I've learned the system, and know how to exploit it.
You learn the rules so you can bend/break em. Everyone's heard it before, it's a cliché, but it's as applicable here as anywhere else. Improvements to these boards can always be made, and I think a lot of times good suggestions are overlooked simply because of the user expressing them, and that shouldn't happen.....

God bless you,
cause I've never been with such great luck.
We know mods before they were mods, and I still get banned from them.
I like to think this is simple Tony Soprano mentality: "Nothing personal, it's just business." And truly-- it's not personal. It's just business.
But then again, I've seen people create alts to flame mods and call them faggots and other stuff... and still keep the main account.
But, whatever. God bless, you can play Devil's Advocate.
I can see what you're saying.
But my teeth are still on edge whenever "that" asshole speaks.

i must admit, after a while when some of the mods were n00bs when i was already a vet, and when folks i was friends with became mods, i started riding those coat tails like there was no tomorrow. as of yet, i've never been banned on NGBBS. not to say i was asking for it in any particular instance, but there were some questionable threads where everyone else got banned for posting in a spam thread and i was still posting.
and it's not like the mods are fucking judge dredds walking around being completely non bias in every instance and laying down judgement. they have their own views on things and if a regular who's not really causing a problem was having a bit of fun, why bother banning him because some douchebags made a perfectly reasonable thread turn into a spamfest?
what i like is when people think they can get away with things and find that they can't and are banned.

I just realized something.
Prom is the biggest waste of money and stress that are needed for something fun.
Fuck that, I'm asking a girl that has a car.

First you're not Scottish, then you're not 20.
What's next? You're some kind of conjoined twin? A limbless torso? Hermaphrodite? Communist spy?

My prom date had to back out on me at the last minute because he was going to two proms and didn't realize they were the same day. Since he was just a friend, and had a chance with the other girl, I wasn't too mad. I ended up taking one of my most randomly-met friends (friend of my sister's ex-boyfriend, wtf?) and having a fantastic time.
We went to the Midnight Movie at the historic Byrd Theatre after the prom. That week it was Scarface. It was fun to go to that in an evening gown, with my friend in a tuxedo. Especially since most of the people there were punk-types. We got a round of applause.
I went because I didn't want to regret not going. It was fun, but hardly something I'll "remember forever."

People used to bitch at me that my age nullified my view. So I upped the ante.
Onee I turn 18 in 7 months, then I'll turn it back.
Anyway;s, I got another week till Prom tickets stop selling, I'll decide then.
