Can we petition to have an ostracism policy implemented in NG BBS rules?
Regs vote one moron to a 30 day ban every month (with non-consecutive ostracisms, just to be fair)?

Unfortunately yes. I was more apalled by its distaste in color and lack of music more than anything.....
You are quite the mindreader, although I suppose he's infamous enough. He found my pic on MySpace, on a profile that I had removed the link to weeks ago in place of another link on my NG profile. I guess I'm just more confused as to why I'm a target of his now than anything, especially given that it's been weeks between debating.
Tell him to Fuck off and get some computer geek to plant a virus on his computer. Dre has absolutely nothing better to do than spam the forums with his bullshit.
Just ignore him. He's barely worth it.
Agreed. As is, this is my new policy. He clearly doesn't listen worth a shit, which I think is what pissed me off about him more than anything, coming from a University devoted to open minds and differing opinions.
As is, he posted some more shit in response that I'd LOVE to tear apart, but I won't. I think everyone and their mothers know that he's an idiot and his opinion is worthless, my job is done.

Fuck.....
.....double fuck......
I liken us more to the Gauls on Rome (take 1). We're huddled on top of the citadel with our sacred chickens, and they're out there ransacking our town........
Now we just need the Germans to come and scare all the French away and us Romans will be all safe and sound (at least for 1000 years or so....).

I love how he boasts about how 'cultured' he is. In that new post of his he brags about how he's seen most of Europe and how he's 'moving back there to see even more.'
So by his 'logic,' since I was born in Europe (Germany), saw MORE than he has seen over there, experienced parts of Asia, and live in the United States...I must be the most cultured person in the world! And don't try to refute me on that one, or I'll just tell you that I'm more cultured than you'll ever be and strike you down with my exapnsive knowledge about the most intimate workings of the world and insanely large groups of people.

Shit! I've been to Canada, Florida, all around Michigan, and Nasville. Therefore, I am expert on all things past or present in those areas, refutation of such a claim is most unwise....
Hell, I'm claiming an expertise on Buddhism as well, cause my best friend was raised both Roman Catholic and Buddhist, and stuck to the latter. Through him, I claim at LEAST a Masters.
Like him having been to Europe makes ANY difference on the fact that we're talking about Christianity through a HISTORICAL perspective. If he had STUDIED in Europe on the other hand......
Moreover, he hasn't even studied Theology, not one damn class! He assumes my "crap Catholic education" was a brainwashing measure.
First year HS theology: Bible studies. Look at passages, discuss their implications and interpretations. In depth look at some of the more problematic ones.
Second Year: World Religions. Everything from Judaism to Taoism, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc.
Third Year: Morality in the Modern World. Just War policy, what constitutes "sin", etc.
Fourth Year; Marriage and something else......
College:
Besides historical looks, I took a 400 level course called "Christians and Pagans". It was cross listed as ClCiv (Classic Civilizations), Relig (religion), and Philo (Philosophy) 450 somethin, so I got a nice eclectic look.
Dre-Man:

North Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Texas, Colorado, Louisiana, Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Arkansas, Arizona, etc. Lots and lots of travelling. Expert? No. Experienced as hell? Yes.
Hell, I'm claiming an expertise on Buddhism as well, cause my best friend was raised both Roman Catholic and Buddhist, and stuck to the latter. Through him, I claim at LEAST a Masters.
Family, not friends. Speaking to an elderly person close to you about years and years of pursuing the Catholic faith, why it contradicts the Bible and how they found out, the guilt they were given by their own Catholic comrades for leaving the church and how it haunts them to this day, and what they and their comrades used to believe when they were Catholic, is quite enough for at least a basic knowledge on Catholicism. Maybe not as much as actually being a Catholic, but enough to make logical generalizations about it.
Like him having been to Europe makes ANY difference on the fact that we're talking about Christianity through a HISTORICAL perspective. If he had STUDIED in Europe on the other hand......
European DoDs schools AND the touring of these historical countries and cities > Learning french and german and actually conversing with native French and German people about their country, culture, etc. > Extensive education on modern Europe and European history > More lifetime experience than most people could ever hope to have at the age of 112, at the age of almost 15 > No one on newgrounds has even the slightest bit of ground to call me inexperienced or uneducated, even the ones who have already graduated college.
Touring Europe by the way actually allowed me to visit many ancient Cathedrals, which I learned the history of, and actually had service in many 1.5 thousand year old Cathedrals. Learning the history of these ancient Christian stone monuments, allowed me to learn about ancient European Christianity, its development, how it affected the people, how our beliefs are different from that of those times, etc. So yes, my experience is that of a religious kind.
The very sight of the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris is enough to fall on your knees and confess the Lord as your saviour. His creations are truly magnificent.
Moreover, he hasn't even studied Theology, not one damn class! He assumes my "crap Catholic education" was a brainwashing measure.
So, you've studied theology extensively, yet know absolutely nothing about the Bible? BRILLIANT! It all makes sense.
And I don't believe you were brainwashed, I just think that you're a weak minded fool that will believe and keep anything that he is taught until his dying day.
First year HS theology: Bible studies. Look at passages, discuss their implications and interpretations. In depth look at some of the more problematic ones.
So, this is where you first learned the flawed common view of the Bible, and now see everything else as blasphemous fundamentalistic bullshit, and anyone who says otherwise is a heretic.
Second Year: World Religions. Everything from Judaism to Taoism, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc.
I know quite a bit about all of these religions, I've studied them as well. Perhaps my basic High School education isn't good enough for his all intelligent Roman Catholic greatness, though?
Third Year: Morality in the Modern World. Just War policy, what constitutes "sin", etc.
From this sentence, I derive the conclusion that you stuided naught but theology, and not Christianity. You simply studied a very basic view on world religion, its similarities, and how it affects society. That's not enough to claim to be an educated Catholic scholar, as you have before. And its definately not enough to call me a fundamentalist prick with no true education on the Bible, as you have before.
I've also studied the origins of Christian and Pagan relations, and you'd be surprised to find out exactly how much it has to do with the early development of the Roman Catholic church.
Dre-Man:
"I've been to Europe, so your education sucks!".
Correction: "I've been to Europe, so you have no right to claim that I am inexperienced."
All right, yeah that's great. Have fun riding your bike through the military base little boy......
More like riding a bike through the streets of Amsterdam, sampling different kinds of Dutch food, and buying a six pack of famed Dutch tulips. Try again.

No, I refuse to talk about feminine hygiene products or anything related to that.
But we could have a spirited discussion of lip gloss, or something equally female-specific (not to insult the transvestite population, of course).
