if only because this awesome game Blue Dragon should come out sometime this year, made by the very best from Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger.
Well, the only reason I would want buy the Wii is because of the new Fire Emblem game for it. Now, I'll be the first to tell you my hatred for Japanese RPGs with fourteen year old kids that save the world, women with the faces of ten year old boys, and people with bigass eyes, but that game is a redeemer of the genre.

If anyone has heard of the place I work, it's pretty wild. Teavana is a high-end tea store that is mostly found in malls - think of it as a Starbucks of tea. We charge between $4 - $25 for two ounces of tea, and shill $80 - $250 tea sets to wealthy people.
It's really low-impact work and the pay is good: D.C. metro area starts at $10.50, with a $1 raise at one month and another dollar at three. This doesn't include commission, which is 3-5% over your hourly goal, which is not at all hard to meet when one person buys $200 in tea and $180 in tea appliances.
I gave up my job in the Senate for it because it was sucking out my soul with its boring pointlessness. Now I've got a fully stocked tea room for free and a job that is paying out almost as much as the Senate without the hour-total commute.

Oblivion might not be bad, though my fiancee has the PC version, so once I get my computer back I could always jack it from him.

I can't wait for more RPGs to come out, the genre has been very much neglected. I'd hope further that perhaps Nintendo might be inspired to somehow make Squaresoft create all new versions of classics like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy games 4-6, along with Secret of Mana... but that's lots of endless wishing!

I was one of three foreign policy analysts for Sen. Bayh to the Foreign Relations Committee. Needless to say, I have stories to further shake one's faith in government.

If it's what I"m thinking about, the one for the GBA, that was kinda more of a prequel, and IIRC it was originally a regular Game Boy game called Final Fantasy: Adventures.

Would have had stuck with the Senate job. Hopefully I will get the same oppurtunity. Chances for upward advancement open up there.
And a tea room. Jesus, I've been living in one since I was born.

There aren't as many opportunities for advancement in actual Senate Government work as there are latching on to a campaign and riding it INTO office. I found the majority of government work to be unchallenging, dull and not at all engaging to a student of government. I was much happier working the campaigns, and intend to do that when I graduate in '08, depending on who is the Dem nominee.

How does one go on to join these groups.
I mean, in the 08 Election I will be a Sophmore in College, So I'm hoping that that joining onto one of these things could be interning or something of that sort.

Most of my work in politics I owe to timing and proximity. My family has been involved in Indiana politics since we moved there seven years ago, which always helps. As pretentious bullshitty as it is to say, it helps to have a dad who is the Executive Director of the city party. I worked very closely on an after-school internship on the Indiana gubernatorial race every day from May until November 2004, when my candidate got his ass handed to him by a guy who is about to have his ass handed to him. I did a lot of civic involvement stuff with the Mayor's Office, which recommended me for the job with Senator Bayh. When Bayh decided not to run in '08, I began counting the days.
At this point, I accelerated my college schedule to graduate in 3 years instead of 4, meaning I will be out in time to pursue '08, whether I decide to do it presidential or gubernatorial state politics. I'm also running as a delegate to the Denver convention, which is a pretty sealed deal given that most of the delegates are slated by the party weeks in advance according to strict quota systems.
It helps to be really young, too, so everyone can go "Ooh, he's so young, but look at how involved he is." You get points for that, but it goes away at 20. Then it's like, "Oh, another college political intern."
The key is to do a lot of fucking unpleasant work, take the jobs no one else wants, and do them better than anyone expected. Being brilliant at persuasion also helps.

Speaking comes easy with me.
But I got nothing till 08.
The Guvenotorial elections just finished, the Senate was done last year and we now have nothing big till 08.
Though I will keep my ear out for local small little State Rep type things.

I disagree, though those are both blends that I enjoy. I prefer a jasmine tea for the evenings and an Earl Grey for that morning perk-up.

Early Gray is light in caffening and light in it's boldness.
It's more of an afternoon tea, or High Tea.
I prefer an Irish Breakfast or English Breakfast for my mornings.

Orange and Black Pecoe, on ice, with enough sugar in it to put a bull elephant into a diabetic coma. And perhaps a small lemon wedge to go with it.
