Well, after taking a hard entrance exam and busting my ass during 8th and 9th grade, I was accepted into the collegiate high school in my county. Only 100 out of 900 apply get in, so I'm pretty lucky.

Since it offers college classes, I've decided to get my Associates in Business Administration, which if I keep my GPA and my test scores up will probably propel me ahead of other hopeful applicants to NYU and Whartion School of Business

Well that's not completely fair, though. That would be like me hinting that I bought a copy of "No Life 'Till Leather" and expecting everyone to know what I was talking about.

Maybe it didn't realize it was dead.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'd be more interested in figuring out how a thing that hugelearned to use a water fountain. That's some kind of a trick...

Yes, I know who Velvet Underground is, but I'm not into their music on the same level that he is. It would be unreasonable for him to expect everyone to know what he was referencing to, just as it would be unreasonable for me to expect anyone else here to know what NLTL was.

Hey guys, just to let you know,
Cesar Milan's Dog Whisperer methods to discipline dogs:

Works great for children.

LOL--
I've broken my cousin's sense of self literally and I'm so totally there to pick up the pieces and reconstruct him...

He's a spoiled kid and he's doing bad at school only because he's so high strung, spoiled, and lazy.

He's fucking 13 and he threw a temper tantrum because I didn't buy him another burger! Fuck sake, he's outta control or least be an embarrassing McDonald's fat kid pic in some obscure NG post.

Since this morning he hasn't played games, he has only eaten salads with boiled chicken and lemon juice, no sugary snacks... Made him run a mile outside and 40 minutes on my eplitical. I turned Machiavelli on his ass...

His sugar rush fueled bad energy is crashing on him and I can literally smell his despair. I got him doing his homework right now, with nice print.

He's memorized a poem that he should've done a while back but in 2 hours he has it down... which is good because he has to recite it tomorrow.

After this, I will let him watch some TV... and then make him wash his face before he goes to bed....

Yup...
Thank god I watched that episode from South Park.

No, but it's priceless to see my cousin in the precor machine just like how that guy puts his dogs on the treadmill...

No seriously-- this kid is turning into a major bad egg and, of all people, only I can instill fear and respect in his heart (well, maybe his mama, but she has a soft spot.) And I seriously do the same techniques such as ignoring him. I even pinned him down a few days ago when he got way too agressive with his nephew with a wrestling move and god bless me... I still know the Full Nelson pretty good and the Scissor Legs. Didn't let go until he was submissive.

This is the same kid who broke the controllers when he was very upset with Sly Cooper 2. For a while, he was so fucking seriously testing me out when he, like many 13 year olds, were saying, "Fag." You know, just to test me out.

So in the end of today, not only he has his homework done and organized his binder... I even got him caught up in his readings. I think he's most pist by the fact that I even make him do work while he's in the bathroom, excersing, and eating... yup, I believe in double tasking. Made him memorize a poem called "Be Glad your Nose is on your Face." Or something like that.

What is more... I'm sure that he's tuckered out enough that even my aunt won't have problems making him go to bed.

There's actually not as much irony (or maybe more?) in that comment than you think. GM, Ford, and Chrystler are closing US plants (mainly Michigan) and moving them to Mexico and other places.

Meanwhile, Honda, Toyota, and other foreign car companies are opening plants in the US.

I worked in a shop for a few months in the summer, and got razzed for drivin a Honda. After explaining this I asked, "Now which one do you consider more American?" Most of the other workers didn't respond.

American brand cars from the former Motor Capital of the World saying "Made in Mexico" and Japanese cars saying "Made in the USA".....what a world.....

I swear I don't get adolescents. Today at work these two girls (thank God that they're gonna quit) who were age 16 were ragging on a manager who works with me, calling him Fairy (because it rhymed with his name). I tell them repeatedly to stop, not only because they were just being mean, but because fairy is also a slut against gay people. And their response?

"Nuh uhh, you don't know all just because you went to college!"

and then when I repeat the fact:

"Well, I don't care if it's a slur or not!"

These are the same people who routinely call one another faggot and think it's cool. WTF is wrong with kids these days?

I call people fags all the time and one of my better friends is a gay dude. So what? I never say it in his presence but other than that why should I care what I say? Words dont mean anything till you attach meaning to them.

I routinely call my friends fags, fruits, douchebags, fuckers, assholes, motherfucker, etc. One of my favorite things to say about something I dont like is say "That is gay." Those are all words that didnt mean anything probably like 50 years ago, let alone 100. Its just a word, nothing more. And the only time I will refrain from saying those things is if I feel it makes me look bad or people are uncomfterable with it.

"Nuh uhh, you don't know all just because you went to college!"

I'm just getting to the point of realising I'm not a kid anymore and realising how old teenagers do see me as. I'm also trying to come to terms with the fact I'll never become a reat athlete (it could have happened! I could have discovered some unknown talent.) Anyhow, now I've realised I'm no longer a kid, I've also realised that kids are stupid, really really stupid.

On a slightly different note I've got my final exams for my degree in less than a month and I can't stop arsing around and not revising....maybe I am still a kid afterall.

I'm also having difficulty with laziness. I also need inspiration for a 10 second movie I need to have filmed and edited by next thursday. So far I'm torn between "The Infinite Complexity of the Human Mind" and "Quest for a Bacon Sandwich".

The problem is that they do this at work, and we have customers who offend easily enough. Hell, we've had customers even manage to lipread when one of our employees was frustrated due to the "fucking customers". Yeah, words don't mean anything until meaning is attached to them, but I figure, you never know who's going to attach meaning to a word.

Like last night. Those two girls knew that they were visibly making the manager mad by calling him Fairy, and it did turn out that he was called that in high school, in the derogatory towards gays manner. And they just didn't care, because they didn't see it as derogatory, therefore why should anyone else ever view the word as such?

Coincidentally, one of the girls who likes using the word faggot was also one of the two who a few days ago drew on my car (the other was a boy who works there). They cleaned it off after being ordered to, and man, it was worse than tonight. What, with the boy (who is a skinny little runt) threatening to kick my fiancee's fucking ass (because he threatened to call the cops on them for vandalism) and about how my fiancee was a fucking ignorant hick, and so on. He prolly won't have a job for much longer, but I just couldn't help but shake my head at this stupid shit.

Well, heh, I havent met people like that. I can relate to the mouthing "fucking customers" (its like people who work in service industries are just punching bags for assholes with emotional problems) part but damn, you really work with some complete assholes. That all is pretty messed up and I am not enough of an ass to not realize that.

It's ok, I didn't explain enough. But most of the teens who work there are utter shit, except for the few who are so good that they make me forget that they're underage. It just makes me wonder if I was a bit of a shit at 15 or so, because we tend to overlook a lot about ourselves in our own hubris.

But then, if I'm lucky, a lot of these teens will be out the door, and perhaps some adults who are mature will be brought in.

You know what the sad thing is? This has been happening over the last 30 years and not one Michigan politician has solved the problem, Democrat or Republican.

Problem is instead of trying to find a new market to corner, or a new tech to pioneer, we're trying to cling to a dying market. The tradition of being the Motor City is gonna kill the future. Right now I think our economy is tied with Louisianna or some shit......

If I were governor I would cut all ties to the Big Three and being a mass research program to find another product Michigan can be on top of. That or invite foreign automakers in and start an ethanol program.

Either way I'd flick off the Big Three who have given up on this state and moved out.....
Irnoically that's the reason I'll never be governor either.....c'est la vie......

I saw that Body Worlds thing at the Boston Museum of Science today.

It was quite interesting, thought provoking, creepy and disturbing at times( they had scenes of fetuses and infants that got to me).

I really really loved it.

I'm also watching Laybirinth and listening to Ziggy Stardust today.

It's my David Bowie day.
