I’m sure he could.
Being able to do it without being arrested…? Perhaps not.

What is this Staind and Incubus you all speak of? Are they from Sweden or Norway? :( I swear I'm nearing a point of no-return in black metal now >.< thanks a lot Skunk for introducing me to Last.fm. :P

I like Incubus. I am a chick. That probably doesn't help anyone's case here. Now I would like to play Guitar Hero, because I have yet to 5-star on "Stellar".

Aww :'( on what difficulty are you trying to get the 5-star? I'm so rusty x.x I broke my guitar's whammy bar, tried to put it back together, it fell apart completely into several tiny plastic pieces rendering the whole whammy bar unit useless and finally chucked the whole thing into the dumpster :( Has anyone else's whammy bar broken? I've seen a couple other people who have had the same problem. I hope Harmonix or Red Octane (whoever designs the SG controller) can correct that whammy bar weakness before the release of GH2.

It just so happens that I got my hands on the QOTSA album "Songs for the Deaf" yesterday, and despite all the radio-themed fluff, the actual music is good. I can't imagine a reason to define anything like Incubus as "womanly." Unless they play their instruments with their vaginas, the music couldn't possibly be womanly.
Also, I managed to get my hands on some Helmet, too, including 'See You Dead', which I'm overplaying to fuck. I heart music :)
So I'm basically awesome.

I love that album first of all and second of all you think they are a radio friendly band?
Im not sure I agree. Im not sure I can hear more than 2 songs on that album on the radio but then again, I dont listen to rock radio and dont know what it sounds like. When I do listen to the radio its always rap and R&B. And that album is supposed to be themed to parody how lame the radio is so, yeah, I dont think I agree.
That really is a hella good album, Dave Grohl (same one of the Foo Fighters) on drums, Oliveri on bass, Homme on guitar and Lanegan on guitar. The craziest part is all 4 of them can sing and write songs and 3 of them actually do sing on the album so you get a majorly diverese sound. Its to bad Grohl didnt sing at all on the album, I think that would have made it cooler.

No no, "radio-themed fluff" as in the introductions or endings in each song are frequently just some radio DJ sound-a-likes randomly spouting something about QOTSA, which consumes time in each song with no real content, and so I called it fluff.

Holy shit. I didn't know Grohl was in QOTSA. That means he's on my playlist in three different bands (Foo Fighters, Nirvana, and QOTSA). Crazy.
Grohl singing might have been interesting. It might have sounded a lot like Foo Fighters then, tho.
So I'm basically awesome.

He’s not a permanent member, although he did do the drumming for the Deaf album, and sometimes tours with them.
I’m not a massive fan of him myself…much prefer him on drums (QOTSA and Nirvana are great….never been keen on FF though)
Also….may he possibly be the ugliest man in rock, especially back in the Nirvana days…I mean, even his name is ugly for fuck sake…!

In music, ugly people can become big drug-addict womanizing celebrities. Ah, the great equalizer, and the world is balanced again.

Should I just stop using Trillian, or...?
You can have more than one AIM connection on Trillian at once. So you don't necessarily have to abandon the original name.
As for friend lists, I can't help you there. I'm wanting to do the same thing myself, with my new PoliticsAIM sn, but I think AOL keeps the friend lists in their own databases. I can't be sure, tho, it's just all supposition at the moment.

Ok, when I read that I assumed you had changed it in aim, which is simple enough to do, and it wasen't working right in trillian. Just make the changes im aim and then trillian will follow suit.

Looks like you're more clique on the gay lingo...
What does that mean?
I was thinking you're were trying to call me a "hog" or "pig"-- but that's not really my category of gayness. I mean, yes... gays do label themselves and they do tend to remain in that group. The Bears (think FunkBRS as the prototype) stay with the Bears (and sometimes the Pigs). The Faries with the Fairies. The matures with the matures (or sometimes with younger guys, depends.) The twinks with the twinks. Leather with leather... There is even gansta gay (the "down-lows") going out with each other. Oh yeah-- Frat gays... they're just so funny at times.
It's funny, and I guess nobody really brings this up, but there are actually quite many sub cultures of gays. I don't know what to really to go with although I will say that I am more attracted to bearish and maturish types because I feel they have more regular looking, most manliest type of guys. I think flamming queers are a huge turn off, especially the ones with that voice. Really, I think I'm part of an ill-defined group where we're gay but we blend with straight people really well.
Eh--
Whatever...
I'm going out as 80s guy again to a party around here. It doesn't look promising, but whatever... I had my fun the other night. Then I'll come home and eat whatever candy my sister didn't give and catch Hellraiser or Exorcist. Whatever is on TV.
But I am doing this Day of the Dead thing at Oakland on All Saints and on Saturday. I'm part of a small 20 minute liturgical play and I believe it's excellent. The person whom wrote it I taught dialogue and character developement. His play is about a rather poetic bunch of skeleton's coming back alive on Day of the Dead. Very political play too... I play Punko Skeleton (he wrote lines specifically for me, how sweet) and I also play Dick Cheney Skeleton. My sister also is helping out too and she's going to be a puppeter for a snake skeleton and Osama Bin Ladin skeleton.
Needless to say, I'm excited to be part of this thing where it blends art and poetry and drama.

For those of us with nothing to do on Halloween night, whether it be because of weekday life, disinterest in parties, or just no money or plans, I thought I'd share this.
All those movies are free to download (fallen out of copyright), and some are even classics. Also, that was the only Hitchcock I could find on the site.
I don't know if any of you are interested, but it couldn't hurt to have some films to fall back on. I haven't even seen most of those, so I'll be digging through too.
So I'm basically awesome.

I don't know, but if he wanted to kill her there are always easier ways, and it never made sense when, after tying her down, he leaves her and assumes everything went according to plan.
It's simple. If the villian just shot the damsel in distress, for example, there would be no time to engage in hand wringing or mustache twirling. And the black trenchcoat and top hat don't launder themselves, you know.

I've actually have a collection of "classics" (several black and whites)
And they're not corny.
Granted that many of them were before Marlan Brando and the GREATEST TEACHERS OF THEATER HISTORY... (ie-- Lee Strasberg, Stella Adler, Checkov, and Jean Shelton... and etc.)
I'm still impressed.
My most favorite "non-talkie" is The Passions of Joan of Christ. And even then, it's fucking amazing with added modern music ochestra "Voices of Light."
Here was a chick well before Marlon Brando. Lots of people won't like it because, well, it's old. And people seem not to like old stuff.
Oh wells...
People think anything pre 1995 makes me feel old.

Does anyone else think this is abusive? I feel this is injust. Clearly, the artist can't handle criticism AND is abusing the abusive review system. The cartoon in question...
Mods, I really want to put it back up. Just because I think the artist unfairly tagged me because he couldn't recieve criticism.
Any suggestions?

Eh I saw how he replied to the guy and just gave him a 0 for shits and giggles. Speaking of silent films though... anyone ever see that Little Rascals episode where they're in a "haunted house" being chased around by a "ghost" which... looks exactly like a KKK member? There's this one called "young sherlocks" but I don't think that's it :/
Well, the basketeball season is starting back up. I reckon I won't be around much longer, time to hibernate back into the labour force. T'was nice to be back for a few.

Fli, I just got a message about a review I wrote in 2003 being deleted. That's like barley post osbourns and people aren't calling southpark old yet.
As for silent films, two words, Charlie Chaplin. The man taught every message about devoting yourself completly to the bit and how physical humor, if done well, endures. Chicken suits are just funny. I only talked about a chicken suit and it was funny. That's the power of the chicken suit.
