LOL

Are they really that needy for mods? I don't think the forums are THAT bad, people just critisize because they have higher expectations of NG, or something. Anyways, I'm a mod on another site, and an operator on several large-ish IRC rooms, and it isn't glorious in the least imo. Some people just want the position for power, and not to do some good for the site.

...That is, not that they'd have to have low expectations for you. I'm referring to Wade asking the general public to ask to be mods.

I think I dodged THAT faux pas...

So I'm basically awesome.
Original NG chat lives and thrives here.

Today was Dorian's birthday...
Remember the little birdy I saved? Awwww... one whole year with us and still alive after she was on the edge of death.

I gave all my doves little clumps of bread and so they were really happy.
And I also gave a teaspoon of seed each (I don't feed seeds to my birds... too fattening and too poor in nutrition.) Seeds are only a treat and man, they were acting like its Christmas and Holloween on the same day.

NO WAY GUYS I'M TOTALLY GONNA BE A MOD NOW

"Forum mod

Actually, I don't think I'm cut out for it, I don't get wrapped up enough in INTERNETS DRAMA to go on the mod forum."

They say latinos love to own birds... I wonder why... I own two budgie keets :/ used to be four but two escaped on separate occasions because of accidents (kids playing in the back yard kicked a ball into the cage it opened the door) >:\ but anyway... I think I'm more of a rodent person, love the hamsters.

no, though the right thing would've been to stear clear and avoid the spam (but who does that, honestly?) but with a lack of mod action what can you do?

Hm why is there so little modness lately?

Oh and Lil' Mistah Nibblepuff is a KICKASS name for a guinea pig. In spanish we call them Cuyos (plural with the s).

Because I'm heavy metal mosh pit machine, and the kind of people who defend small animals are generally not the kind of people who's asses I can't kick.

BTW Mice are a dollar. Cats are free. Mix the two, and you've got hours of entertainment.

Well I'm into defending the innocent but have no desire to engage you in final fantacy style turn based combat even if I did get to take my shirt off while women watched.

It's beautiful. I love skyscapes. Once, on my semnior class trip and on the boat to Canada we could see out so far that at the right time we could actually see day on one side and night on anoher. It's impossible to describe.

Anyone here ever read Magic Street by Orson Scott Card?

It's a story thats written in Jive by a white guy who must have never heard a real Black person talk in his entire life. Atop of that it's the worst, most terrible piece of shit I have ever read in my entire life par only to The Davinci Code.

Just figured Id'e throw that one out there.

I just saw commercials for "flags of our fathers" and "behind enemy lines 2: axis of evil" in the same break. Really anything I say will take away from the joke.

That's one I haven't read... the Ender series is one of my favorites. At least until

*possible spoiler*

the middle of the "shadow" books when it's all Bean and Petra trying to make babies... babies babies babies babies. Gah dammit!

Yarg.

But... Lost Boys felt too long... like it could have been a novella or even just a short story. Half the stuff in there felt like filler.

Iv'e never read it but Iv'e heard of it and Iv'e heard nothing but good things. I don't think I could possibly bring myself to read it though, If I ever do it will take time and I sure as Hell ain't gonna pay for it, Card has already robbed me once.
