Um, that's actually true. They were afraid black people would become violent if they ever used cocaine. Guess what? They were right. What they forgot was that white people couldn't handle their coke, either.

That's only because...um...uh...there's no real way I can think of to make that end funnily.

We combed the NG forums looking for info on him. Once we got his name from some of his postings, we found his address on one of those people-finders. We already knew where he lived, so that part was a little easier.

Oh yes... the whole suicide thing.
Well now-- that was a very dramatic moment here on the lounge. I do remember everyone here was looking for info from here and there. I do remember Funk saying he had the address at one point because he sent a bracelett (or something like that-- I may be wrong.)
Nonetheless--
People... I know we all have problems.
I've certainly thought about not living a few times myself. I know I've expressed that point here once or twice.
Put please, don't actually say you're doing suicide (like that MySpace kid... how horrible) because, really, there isn't anything that we can personally do, and the burden and guilt is shifted on us.
I know I would never return to newgrounds if someone who I know well enough online committs suicide, I will feel too terrible and guilty to ever return. I mean-- What can we do in a split second except write, "Oh no-- please, please..." And that doesn't do much if somebody REALLY wants suicide themselves such as LivingCorpse.
Do what I've done: keep a drawer of free pamplets to all sorts of hotlines. (I store these with my receipts, so they're messy... but there for me.) Infact, I actually did call one of these on the death of my child because really... I've been distraught. And now I go to group counceling to help me with grief. (As you know... several deaths in the past few months.)
Soooooo--
Yes. Save those Health Ed pamplets. So handy.

This is why letting people know you is a double edged sword. Yes we used the information gathered that night for a good thing but letting out information about yourself over the internet is a very dangerous thing.
Once I wanted to call someone from here, apparently I passed the screening process because they said that if I looked around their phone number was in here somewhere. Someones phone number, out there where anyone could get to it. That's fucking scary. I don't even like people knowing my name.

Watching a movie: Ushpizin (The Guests)
It's about a Hasidic family and their guests during Sukkos ("succoth"). Not sure what's gonna happen. But I'll watch it. It looks pretty good.
There's this other movie about a hooker and a rabbi that I want to see, but I can't find the name. Oh well.

It's actually kind of sad that we don't reevaluate laws made on the basis of racism, as sound as they may have TURNED OUT to be.

It is, but racism and prejudice are still fairly prevalent, as much as we don't like to think it does. Not to mention you bring up the idea of "ends justifying means" should we really strike down a law that is good, and does work, just because the spirit in which it was passed was not good and right?

Yeah, you definetly showed them up. Fuck, getting banned for 30 days is so shitty. If I wasn't allowed on NG I would be so mad.
Seriously dude, you didn't have to ban them. There were obviously enough people who wanted the original thread to stay. It was a pretty shitty and cowardly thing to do.
But hey, you just showed how much of a loser you are. "I banned them! LOL! I rule!"
Awesome work man. I hope you are proud.
