So, I was lying here awake, trying to get asleep, when I thought of something. Originally a few months ago, my parents and I bought tickets to Bonnaroo – a huge four-day music fest in Tennessee. Coincides with my b-day next month. But by now, I'm thinking I won't be able to get away long enough for this, with both school and work (going in for my third interview at Lowes this Mon.) But I still want my parents to go. First, so they'll be out of my hair for a few days. And, if none of us go, there will be no way to scalp the tickets (that were crazy expensive). So I'm going to try to convince them to go, and I'll stay and hold down the fort.

And then throw a huge kegger that weekend, I guess the pretense can be my 22nd birthday. Never hosted before, but our place is great for parties. My parents hosted a few back in the day, before they decided to just become hermits and get drunk by themselves. I need to get in touch with a few key people to help out, and then.. Well, it's just making sure that enough people show. This plan brightened up my sleep-deprived brain. I can definitely make this happen... hmm....

I'm building my record collection as well. I'm on a brief haitus until I can get some more money, but I have some pretty good bands and albums. My ex-roommate's god brother has parents with a large record collection that they never listen to. I need to smooth talk them out of those sweet, sweet vinyls.
