Once again you have stupidly missed the point. Some insurance is better than no insurance, sure I'd like better insurance but I work at McDonalds. Cost Benefit analysis if you will.

Well... I'm going to "work" today. More like help out a wedding with pictures and video. But I'm doing a few photo restorations.

If everything goes well, I will make 500 dollars for myself today.

Yes, that dog died recently, I have no idea why it wasn't killed when it was born, but w/e.

I can't remember the exact story, but I do know that the dog's owner adopted it somehow, and at first, was really afraid of it. But she grew to love it in time. *shrug*

I mean to add this yesterday to the hotwings discussion...

The best hotwings I've ever had are not available at any restaurant. They're the "Blazin' Wings" that you can buy from *gasp* Wal-Mart. A five pound bag of these things goes for about $9, and you get about 40 of wings/legs in a bag. They're kind of a dry though, not drenched in Frank's Red Hot. But they will set your ass on fire the moment you bite into one... and they have enough meat on them to make up about 4 hotwings from Dominos.

Dammit, now I want some hotwings.

<.<
>.>

*knocks off a gas station*

*buys hotwings*

They don't look saucy enough, and I dunno what the hell that white stuff is. It better be blue cheese.

Anyways, to my recollection, the best wings we ever found around here were in Troy, at this little neighborhood place. Troy's a pretty black city, so hurrah for furthering stereotypes. They were good, and hotter than a motherfucker.

I think one of the pizzerias in town makes decent wings now, but I wouldn't know. But yes, I'm starting to get hungery.. I'll get some tofu ones sometime soon. Post a pic for everyone to scream and moan at. =]

Okay, since you've had them both, I've just got to ask; is there honestly any difference in taste or texture between normal hotwings, and tofu hotwings?

HEATHEN.

Okay, since you've had them both, I've just got to ask; is there honestly any difference in taste or texture between normal hotwings, and tofu hotwings?

The tofu wings I have here, are just strips of tofu that are (probably) deep-fried very hot. This makes them crunch on the outside, and pretty good all around. As far as texture, with just tofu, yes, it's different. Of course, you can make tofu have the same texture as chicken. You could put little bones in it. If someone had enough time, money, and effort, they could make tofu wings that no one could distinguish from the real thing. Honestly. It's just that nobody ever bothers.

As far as the taste. Of these? The taste of hot wings is all in the hot sauce. There's a difference between these and, say, really fatty, gross wings. But if you're comparing decent reg. wings, and these, then the taste is the same. Good hot sauce.

Fuck it. I'm getting some today.

I've had some vegan quisine on one occaison a while back... soy scallops. I liked it enough, so I'm kind of curious about this whole vegetarian deal.

Good hot sauce.

Franks Red Hot. ;-)

You've never had wings with a good buttermilk ranch sauce? Now that kicks ass.

I didn't like blue cheese when I was younger. Then there was a period where I really liked it. Great salad dressing. Then I went vegan. Then, when I started eating dairy again, I REALLY hated blue cheese. Waaaay too rich. But now, I'm enjoying it again. Funny how it all works.

Hey, now you're talking! Soy seafood. mm. Can't say I've had the pleasure, but intriguing. If I was really desperate (and had lots of money to blow), there's a lot of weird soy substitutes on the internet. But meh.

Franks Red Hot. ;-)

Yes, indeed. =)

So basically your just eating deep fried tofu covered in sauce.

Those wings are based on lies, LIES I SAY.

Anyways, fat and bones are the best part.
