Toot toot.

This is how I see it...
I'm not impressing a girl (or another guy).
I'm buying my first house (with a lot of help.)
I don't have a job-- I'm still in school.

The bus gets me here and there. The only inconveniance is that I have wake up a little bit earlier. But then again, I see this as a trade off for the time it would take to look for parking.

Plus, a pass is quick. I mean, knocks off a lot of the cost.
And I'm doing my part at not contributing air pollution.

*hears BeFells tinkling laughter*
It's true!!!

Ever tried Half.com? Typically you can find good used text books on there for pretty cheap...

That's where my wife ordered all the rest but alas something fundemental changed in the world of accounting in the last two years. Apparently the FASB board finally picked a color for SR40's to be printed on. They went with white.

if i had the chance, i'd ride the bus as well.

but there are no busses here for me to ride to get to where i need to be. theres grayhound, but that goes to cities and other regions of the country or canada. shuttle busses only run within towns.

aroud here you just need a car if you want to get places.

so i payed $500 and my car runs fine (i was in the process of fixing it in those pictures..just needed new breaks)

i didn't know a ng user knew howto fix a car.

gosh, i guess they are useful for something

my dad hates mechanics with a passion, so he's taught me enough to keep my car running pretty well. but i can't fix major problems.

i can change oil, replace parts, do entire break jobs, fix axles, heatplates, work on wiring.

well, not many newgrounders are like me. i'm a very active person, i play two team sports a year for school (soccer, basketball) and run track in the spring. i ski and snowboard instruct, and am out on the mountain every weekend. i have a cool job as a camp counselor in the summer. i participate in my school functions and try to help with other non affiliated programs like the local kid's rock climbing club, and hiking clubs, i'm an avid writer and i have been part of the major roles in all of the school theater functions for the past four years. as well as compete in speech tourniments in acting out monologues and duo interpretation. and i have a realitively healthy social life.

What's with commercials and Iggy Pop's Lust for Life song?
I love that song (ever since Trainspotting, and all...)

But it seems every other travel or cruise commerical plays that song. What is more, that song is starting to leak into other commercials. I heard it on an ad for carpets...

Bah!
Why don't they show the rest of the lyrics? What about this part? "Here comes johnny yen again/ With the liquor and drugs/ And the flesh machine."

They always edit right after Iggy Pop sings, "Lust for Life!"

That's something I would love to hear. A cruise commercial with that song unedited...

Personally I'm most dissapointed with the song "dust in the wind" used for a car commercial. They didn't play that bit about " all your money won't another minute buy"

I know how thrilled you all are to hear about my life, but what the hell. Deal with it.

Well, I have a job interview tomorrow, unless it's rescheduled on account of the snow. With that in mind, I had to remove a good 2-3 inches of hair from my chin and neck. That pissed me off.

My new PS2 came in today. It came with some extra stuff, so it was quite a bargain. Unless I'm mistaken, I saved about 70 dollars off of the regular store price for the whole package.

I hate child-proof lighters.

So I'm finally getting off my ass and starting to work out. Picked up a pass for the campus weight room, exercise equip. and racquetball courts. The best part? Access to the wrestling room. Getting back into a strict exercise regimen is harder than it looks, but it feels great. The New Years resolution this year was to quit smoking the ganja . . . unless on extremely special occasions. So far, it's been all good.

I dunno if you guys already talked about this or not, but what were/are your resolutions, and how're you doin' so far?

My resolution was to act more like FUNK. Unfortunately, I haven't been drinking much b33r or watching much pr0n since getting back to school. HOWEVER, there is a place two blocks away that serves tofu wings. I eat them in great abundance, as the great leader does.

Oh god...

If you're going to a club...
Remember guys.

Do not wear a strip shirt (untucked with one button loose). And no matter what-- DO NOT SPIKE YOUR HAIR.

Yes, Metro is in of course--
pluck out those eyebrows. Shop at Express for Men. Whatever... but once you start to look like Goku in Super Sayian mode.

It's down hill from there...

lmao. Those poor fools. It's sorta like looking at 80s fashion, but IT'S GOING ON RIGHT NOW!

And I actually lost weight in Europe. Despite drinking more beer and being physically less active than ever before... Although, yeah, it prolly was mostly muscle that I had built up while working last summer. But who cares. Muscles are for people with small dicks.

No, you guys are right. I want to be able to move refridgerators and inspect pipes. It's just not a really high priority. And it doesn't seem to need to be -- I have good genes, and just doing nominal physical activity produces results. Just these body builders, and people who spend hours in a gym.. They're obviously overcompensating for something. And my mind just naturally leads to the privvies.
