Gotta love the quotes of Weebl and Bob
That's what got me through college and what kept my sanity.
The new A-Ha one was quite funny, quite enjoyed it.

I'm not even in school right now, and I'm not on any illegal narcotics, and my brain is fried. Why? Because I've taken up mapping out arpeggios of major musical scales for guitar. Once I get it done, I'm thinking of compiling it and sending it off to Mel Bay publishing. Maybe they can call it "The Big Damn Book of Arpeggios."

Are arpeggios those musical notes on those papers?

I don't think an online band would exactly hinge on where I live...

Sort of. An Arpeggio is when you play each note in a chord in rapid (or slow) succession, as apposed to all at once. A simple major chord may have 3 notes in it, but those three notes can be spread across a guitar's fretboard in a number of patterns.
The opening bars of "Fade To Black" by Metallica (or "One") are great examples of this.

Example... the following is the chord C Major as an arpeggio, spread across the fretboard of a guitar. The notes for a C Major chord are C, E, and G respectively.
C = Green
E = Red
G = Blue

Fli do you keep on making these sigs, i love how original and offending they are.
But original and funny.
Do you think you could make one for me, just not homo and with this picture.

It was a sig from a year ago... I never used it last year, and by coincidence I found it.
I felt a little edgey this season...
I'll figure out something with that pic--

I thought about it...
"Feck off dug-- I'm a Scot." (Hopefully correct in Patter slang...)
I liked it-- but composing the picture is difficult cause you can't see the pic when it's resized.
Perhaps someone else wants to take a crack at it?

I wasn't asked...
It was taken off.
Only because people got all crazy and started to jump on the band wagon.
I had it for several months, and since then I've seen several similar sigs like the one I displayed here and there on NG.

You're goddamn right.
Had a party last night. Seventy beers, eighty eight jello shooters, and more jager-bombs than you can shake LadyGrace at.
And people kept insisting on throwing up in my woods...like I don't have a bathroom.
I still have codeine tablets left over from last night...which is starting to become a mantra I find myself saying more and more.
Question: Why is it so fucking hard to find Maria Muldaursongs on the internet? And why is it so hard to find Maria Muldaur albums in stores? I've asked around...and most stores can't even special-order her albums for me.

It's a well-known fact that bis have more fun. It's a damned shame I'm limited to one gender. I'm not necessarily opposed to the idea, but I've never found a man attractive.

I'm afraid I can't help you there. I've actually never heard of Maria Muldaur. What style of music does she play, and what songs has she performed that I might recognize?

That's just because you've never seen me. You come to Amherst, Virginia...and we'll rock out with our cocks out.
And I so mean literally.

Aw.

She's a bluesy sort of folk-singer. I can't think of anything you'd know her from, though. She did several songs with The Jim Kweskin Jug bang...including gems like 'I'm a woman' and 'Big fat woman blues'.

HOTTER!!??!!??!
Hey, Grace, I'm sorta like a war hero, and you know, if you don't cater to my every whim... that makes you... kind of a terrorist. Just FYI. Oh, and if people see you hanging out with me, they'll think things like, "Wow, look at that girl, she sure is patriotic, and stuff"

You got a picture? If I think you're hot, I'll be honest about it. You would probably do well to expect disappointment and heartbreak, though. :D

I don't believe I've ever heard any of her work, or that of The Jim Kweskin Jug Band, but I do sort of likem jug bands, and the song titles seem interesting enough. Perhaps I'll look into it at some point. I'm not sure what good that would do me though, if her work as as hard to come by as it sounds.
