well played, old chap, they won't suspect a thing

Whew, good, I thought that wasn't going to sound believable.

Man, FUCK HALLOWEEN.
Stupid retarded holiday. Why the hell do WE have to celebrate this shit?
I mean really. WHY do WE, Chilean people of the Chilean Democratic Republic of Chile, have to celebrate THIS?

The funniest thing that could happen in a Chilean Halloween would probably be that your 8-year-old neighbor gets raped by a man dressed as a clown.

Go on and laugh, but it's not that funny when you're in a hellhole where shit like that ACTUALLY happens.

Hey, I've got an idea. Why don't you people take your stupid holidays, and SHOVE IT UP YOUR---

--- Meh. I guess I'm just cranky because when Halloween started to get celebrated I was too old to ask for candy.

And I really want some candy :'(

So far (and all that I think will show up this year) we had 3. We usually have about 7. That's why we buy the king size bars. We're the coolest house in the neighborhood.

man, i love holloween. i was the sandman from neil gaiman's graphic novel series.

nobody understood it cept like one or two of my friends...but whatever, i fucking ruled at getting candy though

hit every house around me, well in the hamlet at least that i live in. and there were a few places that just left out bowls of candy because they're lazy fucks. and my friend and i would find them pretty much full, and split it all half and half, and leave the empty bowl..sometimes stealing one of their pumpkins and smashing it later.

there were abotu three places like that. it was amazing!

i had almot 20lbs of candy by the end of it.

thats right...i trick-or-treat and i'm 18. ^_^

I gave a whole bag away to the last kid.

She was so happy.
Anyways,

Now I don't have to worry about eating candy because it's just laying around.

My friend nearly scored potential putang tonight.

We usually get like 10. Most of the costumes this year were pretty good except for the fact you sometimes I felt the kids weren't commitin g to the charactars. You know what I mean? really putting yourself in there is the best part of halloween. Batman did not wear jeans and a winter coat. That one I could at least blame on the parents but this one kid wasen't even wearing the mask. Without the mask in what way are you batman? If you can't get into it than how do you expect me to? When I went as a soldier during desert storm I was in charactar. I was whiney, I moved slowly and I accomplished nothing

Tomorrow is Day of the Dead.

I'm setting up an altar for my son, uncle, and grandfather (all died in the space within this year.)

I have pictures of my uncle Pepe, my other grandfather Jesus, my greatgrandfather Felipe. They died when I was young, or before I was born.

I have a bowl of water, marigolds, baby formula, Sees Candies (my grandpa's favorite), and a jar of vitamins (my uncle Rueben was a health nut). I just got as many things they liked.

This year has been hard for me, but there is something so cleansing, so refreshing, to be able to laugh with death. There's a saying my mother passed on to me. "The dead are the happiest people because they can rest."

Anyways,
I don't even have the Dead Bread yet. I thought about buying it, but I may just make it this year. It shouldn't be hard. I just need enough anise.

I was a fuckin tourist for Halloween. Lol, asking people where the party was because I was lost was funny as shit.

Problem is there is a good portion of the night and somehow I ended up at a semi riot (couches burning and cars being tipped) but it got busted in 10 seconds. Damn, a couch bonfire is hot as shit.

*Smells self* I resent that, and our Hollidays are a bit too supersticious for my taste... but eh at least they're not boring. Speaking of boredom... this Halloween SUCKED I mean seriously, I hardly saw anyone dressed up, not even kids, and those who were had some half-assed costumes. Even I only put on a Naruto Headband and called it a day. I walked over to ye olde anime store to look for something and Lo and Behold, cosplayers galore... I feel uneasy around cosplayers because they don't fit the characters at all, it's like an alternate and distorted dimension.

Anyway, I did manage to snag a peak of a woman dressed as Strawberry Shortcake with an open skirt when she took the escalator up, that was probably the highlight of the day *sigh*. Next Halloween shal be better, my buddies and I will put on a Freddy, Jason, and Michael Meyers mask respectively and we're gonna go raise some hell... probably take a fourth buddy along as Hellraiser too now that I think of it. Anyway, I'll finally be 21 by then so I doubt it'll be anywhere near as lame or as dead (corny pun intended) as this one.

We live out in the middle of nowhere, but in the past few years my uncle and aunt have drove their two kids around the neighborhood visiting family. So I expect we got two. =P

My costumes were generally pretty good. One year my mother handsewed a wolf costume. Complete, fake fur. It was awesome, but halloween was a really nice day that day, and it was too hot to wear in the school parade thing. Another time I wore overalls and one of those stupid scary old man faces.. And I was a farmer. An organic farmer I would stress.

I've basically read every page also, for all intensive purposes. When I started posting here, it was only page 300-something. And I've at least skimmed every page since then. I've gone back and skimmed the first 300 pages also, but that was a lot quicker. Venom had read every page until he left. Befeel has gone through most also, but he misses out when he doesn't have internet, has probably missed some.

It's not really anything to brag about, but it's curious. Anyone else try to read the whole thing?

I think it should be a requirement to begin posting here. That'd be awesome.

Question for everyone here: is it intents and purposes, intensive purposes, or both? I've always thought it the first.

I gotta bored one night and invested a few hours in reading the whole thing.

It's "for all intents and purposes"--meaning the statement made is valid enough to apply for a reasonable expectation, that is, for the purposes and intents that completely reading through the thread requires, his reading of the thread, though incomplete, is sufficient to satisfy them.

In other words, "close enough."

It's not really anything to brag about, but it's curious. Anyone else try to read the whole thing?

I've read all of the pages from around 270 forward, give or take a few when I've been away. I've also read like the first 50 or so.

I don't think there's any real reason for anyone to go back and read the entire thread, but people should definitely read the first 5 or so and the last 10 or so pages before they even think about posting.

We need BCC back to do another stat pull, if that would even be possible at this point.
