its always a shitload of clicks just to get tehre. and then stealing your pop's credit card

and then you never find what they promise because its either been deletorated or hidden very well, so you have to spend months looking for it and keep using daddy's credit card and then the end of the month comes adn dad is angry and you get the belt

all because of that stupid catchy phrase

Speaking of which, click my sig links.

SO anyways, Eminem is going to be the next Dr. Dre, at least as far as bad-ass rap producers go. His first album was his best.

You're selling Dre short. He only has two albums, and nothing tops The Chronic.

Utmost respect to Dre. The Chronic has no equals, and Chronic 2000 just served as a reminder he's not to be forgotten.

As a producer, Eminem's got the opportunity to pull a Dre and mastermind the albums of his proteges. I read that he wasn't planning on putting out another album immediately, but was working on building his label, much like what Dre did with Aftermath.

I've given up debating with 'TheReveiwer' [sic]. He needs to have a surgeon general's warning on him--trying to have a conversation with this individual may lead to brain cancer, or something of the sort. Logic is lost on him.

In other news, NG is going to get me in trouble. I lost track of time--easy to do here--and around 1:20 realized I was scheduled to be at work at 1:30.
I hit the time clock a couple seconds before it turned to 1:31.
I still don't know how in the hell I got my clothes on, drove four miles in afternoon traffic, and ran from a distant parking space to the time clock 100 yards away in less than 10 minutes total.

Agreed. I'm just about the point of outright flaming him, but even the witty insults would be lost to him. Even subtle linkage didn't work. Times like these are perfect examples of why I'm not a mod.

I haven't showed up to work on time since mid-June. I think it all works out though because I haven't left when I was scheduled to since late May. Nobody has said anything but on the one day where a manager fucked up and changed the schedule without telling me it took another manager 20 minutes before they called to inquire of my whereabouts.

I wasn't actually worried either, mind you, especially after the person who was supposed to open with me Friday showed up 3 1/2 hours late without any consequences. We're so short of help at Sam's because the managers are too cheap to hire anybody, that people just show up whenever they want, because they can't afford to fire anybody.

Everybody who works in the club took an opinion poll last month on our management staff, and the results came back: they were ranked 4th lowest out of all the Wal*marts and Sams in the world.

That is really pathetic.

What the fuck is the cheating the system accusation that Newgrounds keeps throwing at me? I watch a 5.5kb flash for ten seconds to figure out that it's just going to flash white and black forever then vote zero and I get "Stop trying to cheat the system."

What am I cheating?

I've had time to organize family pictures... There is like 30 years of stuff to sort out, and so I decided to organize the negatives because I could look through maker, brand, and frame number. In that way, I could get the natural organization correct.

Man, it will be hard-- and I thought, "It would be easier to reprint them all, and just save them."

But instead of reprinting them, I decided to put them on photo CD and do some fixing up with colors, cropping, levels, contrast, etc...

Anyways,
This is me as a 1st year old. Man, my face hasn't really changed that much...

I'm pretty sure the eval on our current manager might be able to beat that, he's pretty universally hated, so if Home Office gives a fuck about our opinions (and I don't really believe they do much), he'll be sacked. Do like some of the new bloods they've brought in, my new boss is giving me more hours, rather then like the last guy who'd give me the bare minimum for full-time, or pop out schedules with part time hours.

Eh--
I didn't have a TV and my dad like Futball soccer.

Meaning-- They got that shirt cause it looked cute.
I don't even like football (although, when I was faking it when I was growing up, I always picked 49'ers)

It's hard to be a Mexican who doesn't like Raiders.
It's worse for me, cause I don't even know who is on the team...

That would probably help you understand most of the previous rant.

That and the fact that most of that is absolutely true. I personally think this is the reason there are so many divorces in modern society, no one what's to plan long run; it's all five minute thrills and this "live everyday likes it's your last" bullshit. I want to live everyday until I'm 75 like I'm gonna see tommorow cus I don't plan on leaving before then.

Yeah there's a damn good chance that I won't live that long, but you live a lot happier overall if you live like that. Now when it doesn't fuck shit up then you should have a ball, but if you gotta pick between going to a party with your friends or making the deadline on a paper you don't really want to do, the paper damn well better win.

End rant.

Sorry about the double post but I didn't think it would be right to mix my rant with common banter, lessen the point.

At 7/30/05 11:15 PM, LadyGrace wrote: Gentlemen, gentlemen, I think you're missing the point... Rap sucks.

Let's be fair rap after 1998 sucks, before that it was pretty good. Well and anything Eminem puts out is still good. But everything else sucks; it all boils down to "I'm an asshole, watch me use women like a porn magazine and then kick their ass to the curb cus.... oh wait....that's right I'm an asshole." I fucking hate modern rap, it is one of the primary reasons that the modern youth has a fucked up view of what the world is really like. I personally think the more "street cred" you have the less of a man you are.

And I'm still trying to figure out if it's sadder that kids actually believe that they should act like the idiots in rap videos or that the rappers didn't expect them to act like that. It's not like its the stuff Eminem gets in trouble for. There he talks about trying to kill himself and saying it's cool. My five year old cousin (who's mother was very pissed at me for letting him hear rap) could figure out that Eminem wasn't being serious.

Damn that turned into another rant. Ah well. I guess I'm just in a ranting mood.

I just lit up, flipped on my WMP, selected shuffle, and got some Red Hot Chili Peppers. Road Trippin' to be exact. Started hummin' along while checking politic-folkens profiles, and saw Flagg's message.

Haha! Awesome, man.
I'll chug this entire beer, in the name of drunken coincidences.

I've been drinking high life and henry mckennah since five this afternoon. I've probably been overly hostile in my posts, because of that, too.
