What? How can you hate Fred Phelps! The guy is a fucking genius. Like, seriously. I'm so lucky I was born in Kansas, which just so happens to be where Fred Phelps, the genius, lives!

How lucky am I? I get like front row tickets to see him and his posse of idiots protest almost anytime I want. Even luckier, I'm about to move to Lawerance, where KU college is, and Fred Phelps loves to protest there, because the gay population is very high. YEY, FRED PHELPS FOREVER!...

If Fred Phelps' family wasn't made up of 70% lawyers, his ass would have been put in jail by now. The guy can do whatever he wants, and nobody can touch him.

Seriously though guys, when I move to Lawerance I'm going to show up to his protest with pro-gay marriage signs and pro-gay t-shirts.. I'll take some pictures and upload them here. Nothing is funnier than pissing off Fred Phelp's cronnies.

Don't hate America because of Fred Phelps. Hate religion.

So I'll tell you: There's a time and a place for LSD.
Last night was niether my time, nor place.
I trip at this girl's house. I've known this girl for like, five or six years. We grew up together...and started partying together. Thing's were always more than great, between us.
And then I did acid around her.
And now, due to things that happened...our situation is weirder than Christ.

How do you go about fixing a problem that was brought on by too much honesty?

And, while I'm angrily ranting...who the fuck gets mad at heart-felt honesty? Do my very near and dear friends actually want me to lie to them? When I'm asked a question, by a friend who've I've held close for years...should I simply hold back, and just tell them what I think they want to hear?
I swear to Christ...people don't know what the fuck they want. She complains to me because I haven't been honest with her, about some things, for years and years. So I break down, and finally tell her certain things...and she gets angry at me.

I can't win for fucking losing.

There's a reason why men don't cry. You just found out what it was. Women use men's emotions as handles once they know they're there.

I know a lot of women do that, sure.
But I wouldn't think my long-time friend would do that to me. I did not accoust her. I did not offend her. The things we talked about were not only civil, but they were a direct kind of honesty that's been held for a long time, waiting for delivery.
Somehow, through honesty...I've apparently done something wrong. By opening up, I've, in some round-a-bout way, hurt her feelings.

And I know it shouldn't...but it pisses me off. Yes, I know anger won't solve anything.
But I almost want to tell her to go fuck herself, if that's how she's going to operate towards one who feels nothing but kind, caring feelings for her. And God forbid I express those feelings.
Aren't females suppossed to be all about some 'opening up' and 'honesty'? I guess that's yet another false stereotype about women, apparently.

Well knowing his gf she will probally just dump the kid with him and leave. He is still in bloody secondary school. he won't even graduate that. the only choice for him is to enlist.

Now this is exactly the kind of thing I was talking about. What the fuck do you mean "knowing his GF"? You don't know his GF! None of us do! And if you read what he wrote, you would know he said he is homeschooled and only about a week away from his diploma. Also, I wasn't trying to say being drunk is an excuse for cheating, just that no one here knows much at all of his situation. Some people do feel they can forgive their partners and this guy seems to be one of those people. He clearly thinks he can trust his GF, and I think his judgement is more likely to be right than that of someone who knows nothing but what has been posted on NG. Complaining about him resorting to insults after calling his GF a whore and a slut is a bit rich too.

Of course, you guys may be completely right. She may just stay around for a few weeks then dumb the baby on him and go driving off into the sunset! But somehow, that just don't seem too likely to me.

Sorry usually works pretty well. Expalining in more detail if possible is good too.

You gotta at least sugar coat things. If everyone was flat out honest all the time the human race would obliterate itself in about two days.

I swear to Christ...people don't know what the fuck they want. She complains to me because I haven't been honest with her, about some things, for years and years. So I break down, and finally tell her certain things...and she gets angry at me.

Yeah that's just chicks. Before anyone fires flak at me (shoots a glance at Grace and Maus) that's based on personal experience so call me wrong all you like, that's all I have to go off.

I can't win for fucking losing.

And that's life. Thanks for playing remember in the end there are no winners, just people who didn't end up too far in the hole.

Is anyone disturbed by the fact what is considered beautiful is no longer what is actually healthy. Look at the evolution of the female sex icon. Marilyn Monroe to now people like Lydsay Lohan, PAris Hilton etc who look like a strong breaze will break them in half.

The fact that 17 year olds are getting boobs jobs and skin damage (in the form of tans) people consider to look healthy and be healthier than a normal skin pigment. What have we become as a society?

I think that what celebs do is disgusting, but most women are actually smart enough to realize that's not the way to be. I mean the average weight for a 5'11" (the average female's height) women is 160-something lbs. I weight less then that. Most women are still healthy thankfully. What I worry about is what my kids are gonna grow up in. :(

Actually, the irrelevancy of the post was made to see if anyone would say something ambigious and stupid, so that I can make the more interesting comment of them being an elitist virgin who 'lords' their 'status' over people by pointing out their length of time here.

So what makes you think you belong posting in the regular's lounge?

I've been coming to Newgrounds for about 4 years or so, I can't remember the exact number. I normally check the updates daily, just never really used my account until a few months ago. Even then, I didn't start voting for anything until this Friday. So technically I -am- a regular barring the whole posting thing.

I understand your situation though. Some people are just stupid. You tell then the truth and they flip out. It's like, even if you're upset by it, you don't attack a person for being honest. When my boyfriend says things that are honest, but upset me. I don't attack him for it. I just hold it in, and then work out my frustration by working out. Nothing gets out frustration and anger better than exercising to angry death metal. :)

ICP sucks ass, as well as whoever entered the ID3 tags for your copy (legal, no doubt, yes, yes) of Marijuanaville. Marijuanaville was written and performed by Mark Eddie (http://www.markeddie.com/)

Sorry for nit-picking, but if there's one thing I hate, it's people believing whatever info makes it's way into pirated MP3 tags. On a completely related tangent, The Gin & Juice remake (the country music thingie) wasn't performed by Phish, but a band called The Gourds.

What did you say to piss her off?

We had been talking, for a while. She asked me to honestly tell her how I felt about her. I told her she didn't want to go into that, at that moment (what with her being shit drunk, and me tripping on acid). She persisted, and I advised several times that it wasn't worth talking about.
She got upset, and said that it wasn't right for me, being one of her closest friends, to keep things from her. So I told her, how I really felt. And, when I expressed how much, and how deeply, and the exact nature of how I cared for her...it was a full-tilt to the opposite end of upset-ness.
She just kind of...cried a lot...and went to bed. Which kind of left me stunned.
I mean, I didn't say anything crude. It wasn't any kind of 'line'. What I said wasn't even meant, or spoken in a way where it could be implied, in a way that suggested I 'wanted into her pants'.
Looking back on it...I'd even go so far as to call what I said kind of...an almost sweet kind of honesty (sweet for a man that was tripping on acid, anyway). And I've reviewed what happened...and I didn't say anything out of line, because of the acid. I spoke as I've wanted to for quite some while.

And this was, somehow, a mistake on my part.

Gah, it's like eight year all over again. Let's try again:

YOU. Care about her as a friend or as something more than a friend? Independent of what you said.

Because if you actually just said to her (or intended to, while you were hallucinating God knows what, youn sick fuck) that you really cared for her a lot, but as a friend, and and she misunderstood, then it's all fine and dandy.
But if you didn't...

EMOH- LA- LA.
