I can't blame you. Shit like that is the reason I've abstained... to many girls in my age group (in my community to boot) are out looking for someone to give them a kid and support them for the rest of their lives. And quite frankly? I can't afford that at this time and pay my own way through college.

Remember folks, vasoline and cleenex is cheaper in the long run than child support!

$261 per month for 60 months for an '05 Cooper S with the sport package, as long as I make a sizable down payment ($10k). I just found the local dealer (they don't sell Minis at BMW dealers as I previously thought) and I'm going to go take a cold run tomorrow, or some time when they're closed. They aren't BMW salesmen, so they probably aren't total assholes, but I still want to avoid them for now. Need to test-drive sometime soon too.

mmmm...... Driving trucks and SUVs really bites. Hell, they also have this factory-tuned version that puts out 207hp, but it's $4750 extra. I can do the work myself for less money. I'm even wondering about getting the sport package. Although xenon lights are helluva expensive either way...

I'm sorry to hear about the death in the family fli. Try to have a decent trip.

Wow, my condolences to you and you're whole family fli. I hope you have a safe trip, and the funeral is as nice as it can be. I'm sorry for all your problems of late. If you need people to listen though, you know exactly where to find us, god bless (take that as the compliment it's intended to be since I NEVER say that to ANYONE) : )

Plus, if the crap I say dosen't offend her...then she's hard to offend. Yeah, I thought you made a good post there Rydia, and I think the guy went overboard in his response to you. But Maus is also right that people shouldn't have gone with "omg ur gf is a whore" because I honestly cannot remember the point where the dude explained how she got pregnant.

The fact that he had to resort to insults speaks volumes about his maturity level. I'm just surprised there wasn't more flaming throughout.

To be honest, I thought your post was kinda out of order really. None of us know anything of his situation other than the little he posted, and he obviously didn't want to get into any real detail about how his GF got pregnant. OK, it's fair to assume from what he said that she did cheat on him, but then we don't know anything the circumstances. She could have just had way too much to drink. Everyone makes mistakes, there is no garuntee that she would do it again, and it certainly does not mean she's just a common whore.
You basically assumed you knew what his GF is like based on little more than stereotypes and a few posts on an internet forum.

As for him resorting to insults and flaming, in your post you called him an "absolute fucking moron" and his GF a slut and the "highschool whore".
As for his response, with the exception of the word "bitch", I think his response was pretty good actually, I can imagine a lot of people reacting in a far more imature way.

Since when were people not held responsible for how much they drink? Getting drunk is a decision she made SOBER. That's why there's an age restriction on drinking, so you can't say you didn't know any better when you get too drunk and do something stupid.

*says the guy who drinks straight 151*

Anywho, I had a honky tonk party at my house last night. There was cheep beer and shoutings of "Yee-HAW!!". We played Jimmy Buffet's margaritaville, and some actual top 40 stuff.

I might just start gigging at Cactus Jack's afterall.

Needless to say, I need your prayers.

I don't understand why people blame alcohol all the time for their mistakes. If this really was the case, why should he have to stick with her for a mistake that SHE made? Why should he remain loyal if the girlfriend obviously isn't? It's an unbalanced relationship. Plus, there are several ways she could have avoided pregnancy and having the baby (i.e. contraception, after morning pill, abortion), but she didn't.

I just really don't except drinking as an excuse. Even though she did stereotype his girlfriend as a typical whore, I'm still with Rydia all the way.

Margaritaville is actually an awesome song. There was this one old retired guy at all of the work-related parties my parents went to, who use to sing it at every party, without fail. Guy's dead now, and the parties are that less fun.

Not that I would normally ask, but does anyone ahve any gmail invites lying around? Im am starting to do my own first aid courses and want an email that looks more professional than Hotmail.

In other news, next year I get to take a 3rd yea rpolitics course on critical securty studies, including looking at the War on Terror. Bad news its a one semester course with 35% of my mark on a short essay (2000 words) and 45% on a research case study (4000-5000 words). Looks like I will have to hit the library next year. The rest of the mark is class participation. There is no final exam (which is a relief sort of).

Not only that, but if you get so drunk that you have no idea what's going on, you have to be really really really mother fucking drunk. I've never been so drunk that I've never known what the hell is going on, and I've had times where I've been drunk off my ass. I had always been aware and always been cognitive. Besides, if I ever had a boyfriend who cheated on my while drunk, I would absolutely not stay with him. I could never trust him, and I know he's not going to just stop drinking for the rest of his life. Drunk or sober it's still cheating because the person is still concenting.

Well I currently hate a secton of americans. Now I try not to get into class isues. Do I make a lot of money? no. Do I live in a grand estate? no Do I drive a car that does not suck? no. But I just got back from my brothers wedding (yes pictures are coming) and there was white trash like one would not beleive. I mean seriosely, how do you get a congregation of southern accents in maine? Did they think they were in southern canada? A couple of them had to leave the reception early to go to Wal mart. I don't think they actually needed to get anything, they just haden't been to one for a while and were going through withdrawral. It's a shame they had to go, the kool aid that was served was amazing.
