As if changing your profile pic when you're UOTD is incredibly clever.

C'mon.

It's a gimme.

That's because we kick ass. And by "we" I obviously mean "I".

So, got to a philosophical conclusion today: Aphex Twin's Windowlicker is one of the weirdest video-clips ever.

Oh! Nevermind, found it. I must say, for the most part, all the extenuating circumstances and unliklihoods aside, I agree with you. Though it was a tad harsh, but, hey, sometimes people need sense shaken into them.

I don't see a reason to apologize, what you said was the absolute truth... Frankly I find it fascinating that someone can throw their life away to raise a child at such a young age with their boyfriend/girlfriend.

I hope this guy doesn't have any plans to accomplish anything great during his life time, because that's a laugh.. I hope he realiezes that his life is that kid and girl now, and that whatever his dreams were he better throw away. I hope he loves this girl with all of his heart, because there's a great, if not inevitable chance, she is going to ruin his fucking life. BAAA HAHHAHAHAHHAHHAHAA! And finally, I hope he signed the papers to take full custody of the child, so when something bad does happen, he is stuck paying child support and taking care of a kid that isn't even his. Owned.

Seriously, I don't plan on having kids anytime soon, and by that I mean not within the next 10 years, possibly more... I have shit I want to do.

I've been refurbished and reissued, prepackaged and precooked, decontaminated and deloused, but I still smell, sound, look and feel like shit.

Hopefully, I can get a more steady job soon and move out of here. That would be nice :-), lol.

Well folks. I'm going to Mexico-- I was packing my bags, and thought I should one last check. I won't be going until a few more hours-- cause I will be doing stand by.

My uncle died around 8 o'clock pacific time.
I loved that man, and it was a shock that he died so sudden. He was healthy, vibrant, and funny. I like to think that a lot of my sense of humor came directly from him, as he was the one who taught me, "La vida no se vale nada." (Life is worthless).

My uncle used to be friends with my father, and he fell in love with my aunt. They essentially have been together for a life time-- knowing each other nearly as long as my grandparents have known each other.

My poor father hasn't been well. Due to circumstances, he can never go back to Mexico. So I am taking his place. Though he is a resident, he went to jail for a car accident that killed a person. And there is a law signed by Bush saying that if my father went over there-- he could never return. This is hard for my father because one day his mom and dad will die, and he will not get the chance to physically be with them. My father had a good cry by himself. He's embarassed, but I think it's best that he cry by himself, and we'll come and comfort him when he's done.

This year has been hard on my father. First the baby... and now this.

Well--
I'll be lurking for a while. I need to wash all my clothes cause I don't have anything that's fresh. I'll need to be quick-- I'm going to be on stand-by at SFO.

Damn fli, that sucks for your father. I've got a little family drama going on myself right now. It's a lot dirtier and less sad (well, depending on your perspective. After all, if the good should die, they should do it quickly before they suffer). I've seen a couple of long slow declines, and they're quite a bit worse than a sudden death.

We'd better get used to this kind of thing, though. If we planning on living much longer, we'll see a lot more of it. Sometimes I wonder just how many caskets I'll have to carry before I die, though.

I'm really sorry, fli. Like Maus said, take lots of pictures for your dad. It may be good to bring him something that belonged to your uncle, too. When my grandma died, we sent certain items of hers to relatives that couldn't make it to her funeral due to distance. They really appreciated it, and I think your dad will, too. It'll give him something to hold on to.
