thats actually a frightening topic if you ask me. who knows what age any of the people you see in some porn are. you may assume they are legal age. but the whole thing is so sketchy to begin with, you can never know.

though the cops are out to stop those who are exploiting minors in those pictures. and unless you have a crapload of porn which includes suspected minors - they aren't going to come after you.

He started a thread two weeks ago about how he had some pics of his girlfriend (both of them are under age) and some other pics he suspected were kiddy porn he got from friends. He asked whether or not he should delete them.

Started out with a few touchy issues,
and then a lot of people started to get angry-- then he tried to talk his way out, but he couldn't.

I told him he should appologize-- he wanted to, but he felt 'dropping out' was the most sensible thing to do.

He still feels bad (BeFell-- he does-- not to say you should forgive him or anything, but just to let you know-- he does feel bad for not being sensitive.)

I still email him, but I haven't heard him for a while on Radiogrounds.
He changed his user name, but I don't know what it is right now.

Oh.... that was it. He made some off hand comment about his own age and that was when Skunk started in on him.

Venom threw a hissy fit because none of the other regs thought rape was humorous subject matter.

I remember that topic... apparently he had been sent a ton of pics from underaged (aged 15 and 16) girls in chat rooms, the pics showing the girls in various states of undress. He was curious if that was considered child pornography.

The only thing I have on my hardrive right now that would seem questionable (as far as porno goes) are some CCS and Last Exile dojinshi's I found a while back. I seem to remember having a topic about this a while back... asking if drawn material like that was considered child porno if the characters in question were minors.

Well, after some drama involving me, my friend and his gf, and some thinking, I decided that me and my friend don't need to hang out anymore. It's probably for the best, since he always used other people to make himself look better and he was very conceited, even though he really is probably insecure. Also, his apathy and unwillingness to take responsibility for any of his actions, and instead place the blame on others, is the reason why he didn't have any of his other friends anymore except for me. I admit, I told his gf that he had been cheating on her with an old ho of an ex-gf and one of her friends, believing that she deserved better than that, but after discovering how much of a manipulative liar she was, I want nothing to do with her now.

My friend, however, won't take any responsibility for his actions, saying that it's my fault for telling her what happened and that I stirred all this shit up. Not to mention he's accused me of trying to steal his gf before when I wasn't, and getting pissed off when she talked to any of his friends (like me). He doesn't really blame his gf for manipulating the both of us, and still plans to go back out with her. Not only that, but the ex-gf ho expects me to apologize to her for telling that she'd been sleeping with my friend while he'd been dating this other girl! I'm through with all of them. I still have all the friends that used to hang out with the other guy, and eventually got sick of him too, so it's not like I lost all my friends.

He doesn't have any more friends, all he has are his gf and his "ho's". I hope that can satisfy him, because his shit's pissed off everyone else, and it takes a lot to piss me off...

Life has been pretty dramatic, yea. But as I said to all my friends when summer started: "This summer is like one big long weekend. June is Friday, July is Saturday, and the few days we have left in August is Sunday. However, chances are we're going to have to go through a bit of school (trouble) before we get to the good parts."

I don't think the situation was as big of a deal as he made it out to be. An apology to those he offended was quite adaquate he simply should have served his ban and come back a little smarter. Instead he chose to be overly dramatic about the whole incident...
