The problem is that she does these things or comes up with these ideas that are just so ...(long explanation full of profanities) and that would be fine but she refuses to give on anything despite all logic and just gets me so upset and I want to be frustrated her but I love her so much and I can't be frustrated with her that really frustrates me and then I get headache due to the obvious paradox and then I get even more frustrated and then I feel bad but I win the argument but I don't even want to be right anymore so then I say we'll just do what she wants to do but now she has firmly come to my side so then we have another argument arguing the opposite points that we just argued and then the whole cycle begins again. I suspect she does it on purpose so it will get to the point where I just automatically do what she wants without hesitation. The thing is, I think it's working...

Actually. BeFell, it's not because she's a woman as some folks say.
Cause how you feel for your wife, is how I feel for my husband. As far I can tell you, I don't know why this happens. Cause I can get hella pissed.

These things happen, and the only thing that the both of you should do is learn how to resolve a problem.

The best thing we did for our relationship is learn how to argue, and how to not take angry words seriously when we're mad.

Meaning, when you argue-- argue the point. Don't bring up things from the old past if it isn't necessary. And what is not necessary? For example... if she gets the pizza with the topping you don't like, then you shouldn't argue about family (I saw this today between my parents).

And find a resolution. As quickly as possible.
After the baby died, my husband r-a-n-o-f-t. Yeah, ran off... It was a horrible time for me, and for him. It was like over a week before I found him, and I wanted to fucking kill that motherfucker.

And we fought and exchanged harsh words.
Why did he run off? It was hard to get an answer, and I don't think I will ever know unless I was him. But we both knew that morning made us say bad things, and because we knew this, we were able to maintain a healthy relationship.

Good luck BeFell...
And don't make "rag" comments-- cause it's going to show your not serious, and it will hurt your wife's feelings.

Also--
marriage counseling is always a good thing. You don't need it, of course, but it's a great investment (and it's not a liberal touchy thing either...)

I actually would love to see a gay couple in marrage counceling just so the shrinks head will explode when he can't blindly side with the woman. Also, check my above statment on the problem resulting in the vulnerability created by a close emotional realationship.

I didn't know shrink's suppose to side with women...

I thought there job is to help people to help themselves. (As clearly, nobody can make other people do anything.)

We've had counseling during Feburary and March--
but not for the relationship part, but more for grieving.
Even the baby's mom came (which took a lot of persuasiveness)

I know women... I've been surrounded by sister's, aunts, grandmothers, cousins, and female friends all my life. Believe me, this from personal experience; there is no logic behind your actions other than the fact that your just PSYCHOTIC CREATURES.

God...people are gonna hate me for this.

I was raised around all males, save for my mother. And I have little to no baggage.
A male oriented house, like mine, obviously operates different from a female oriented household. When there's a problem, in this house, we've always been blunt about it. We argue, viciously, for a certain period of time...all of us giving brutal (and sometimes unfair) versions of honesty.
And problems are resolved.

I have a very close friend, whom I've known since middle school. He was raised with all females. Two sisters, a female cousin, his mother, and aunts. And his dad is more of a woman than most females I've met.
(For the record, I don't know where the rest of the males in his family went. Maybe the woman ate all of them in their sleep)
And they don't deal with anything, in that house. My friend tries to confront his mostly female family with legitimate gripes...and it's just him, and him alone, who puts forth the effort. The females in his house simply take offense, and hold long term grudges because he voiced his legitimate concerns. His mother goes out of his way to cater to her daughters, while practically ignoring her son.

Point is: Thank Christ I didn't have any sisters, aunts, or grandmothers that spent a lot of time around me.

The shrink would obviously side with whichever of the females that was more 'feminine'. It'd be the more male oriented lesbian in the relationship, who would get the brunt of the shrink's criticism.

Or the Shrink would just kill himself. Whichever came first.

Meh, I think men blame women for problems because it's easier than blaming themselves. Of course, I had two older brothers and a dad with a very strong personality. My mom could hold her ground though too. I'm just tired of men bitching and moaning about how their woman is causing all these problems and nothing is their fault. Now, there are some things that girlfriends do which is pretty crazy, but those things they do, I think to gain power in the relationship. It's a whole power struggle and they want to be the dominant one. I, personally, don't view relationships that way and I think a mutual respect is a given. And if one doesn't give you respect, then that's not a healthy relationship. But I'm just tired of men generalizing women. "All women are stupid" "all women are crazy" "omg you're upset because you're PMSing and you're completely illogical because you're a woman". It's fucking rediculous. Stop blaming other people for your shortcomings. If you suck, own up to it, appologize and move on. It's not like you have to constantly bitch about women bitching. God, it makes you look like a bunch of pussies.

You're right Lady Grace.
Women have been scapegoats to many things.

But careful not to say, "all men."
Some men think that some women cause their problems, and that's unfair. And I'm pretty sure the there are some women who think the same way too.

Oh, I'm not saying all men. I'm saying all men who complain about women. And I'm not saying all women are innocent. But I'm tired of all women being the scapegoats. Yes, there are some women out there that are complete douchebags. But, generally, most women are good than complete whores. Just like most men are good men.

In fact... let me rephrase that. Sometimes when men complain about women, it's venting. Which is an ok thing to do. No worries, everyone does it. But when it becomes an argument about "why are women crazy" and not "why is my woman crazy", that's when I get pissed. I don't say "all men are the scum of the earth" because I like men. I prefer hanging out with them. But I prefer the ones who don't complain about the shoddy lot they have in life because of their woman troubles. Most of the time, they bring those troubles on themselves.

I get so sick and tired of this sort of bullshit. If women are such illogical half-wits, why don't all of you just fag each other and take them out of the equation? Maybe I've just been really lucky, but in my experience both sexes are equally stupid and pathetic.

You ever get one of those "life" things?

I did, for a short while. Let me tell you guys, it was really weird. Kinda like you saw PURPOSE of stuff, and there were thoughts in my head telling me that I shouodn't be wasting my life on forums and shit all day. But then I learned how to ignore it, so all is good.

Everything's groovy with me, i'm buliding my own computer from the parts and holding a LAN party in about 3 hours, it being 7am in CrazyBritLand now (for those too lazy to work it out).

It is very true, I know that in the past alot of my women problems are entirely my fault. Recently I've been trying to chalk some of this stuff up to "the crazy existance that is life" instead of "damn women troubles" and it's actually helped alot.

Anyway I've actually noticed alot of girls that say "I perfer hanging out with guys" and alot of guys saying "I perfer hanging out with guys." It just makes it kinda annoying being a guy, having nearly 90% of my friends being women and then have people think I'm gay for that reason. It's annoying mainly because the reason why I have that many girl friends is because I'm a horny guy and I got to know them because I was considering dating them. So I'm wondering if I'm alone in that I have alot more girl friends then guy friends.

Oh, definitely. I certainly wasn't trying to say otherwise. I was really just comparing my house against one other persons...I wasn't trying to make some general statement about 'all' or 'most' women. It was just a personal experience kind of thing.
Both genders, in a relationship, try to push blame off on the other. I think that's just human nature.
I think it's always been that way, since the beggining of time. And it probably always will be.

I'm just tired of men bitching and moaning about how their woman is causing all these problems and nothing is their fault.

I know exactly what you mean.
In fact, in my current relationships...any fights or problems are, nine tenths of the time, my fault. But that's just one female, and one guy (being myself).
But then again, I don't have a 'typical female' as a girlfriend...nor am I a 'typical male'. That's what originally attracted me to her (and vice versa, i think)....she's so much like me, it hurts sometimes. Us being so much alike is probably the roots of any problems we have.
