About $40 right now. It's from an uncommon set, so hopefully the price will go up like the 1949 Bowman/Leaf sets. I think Fleer only produced about 10,000 sets.

I wouldn't say I'm a 'card freak'...but I collect them. Or, rather, I did. I haven't purchased any cards in a good three or four years.
I've got some good stuff, though.
I've got a rookie Sprewell (or two, maybe), and a Jordan card from when he played on the tarheels..among some other stuff.
I've got the entire 1990 NFL pro set, in mint condition. I've very proud of that. I've also got early Aikman, early Bettis, Lambert...lots of Warren Moon and Montana.
*shrugs*
I don't price anything...haven't for years. I just kind of...store them, in an imacculate state. I guess one day, I might do something with them. It's hard to say.

Me either. Not, like, seriously anyways :/
I did find a sweet garage sale where the guy was selling all his cards. He was seeling sets from the mid- to late-80's for $10. Most of the sets were in mint condition, so I dropped a Grant there. Other than that, haven't even seen the new types of cards they have today. I think I became disinterested when they started costing $2.50+ per pack, and put parts of jerseys into the cards..

That set and the Jordan card might bring in a nice chunk of change.

Ditto. I was just into Beckett.com a few hours ago when I was asked the price of that Rodriguez card. It was $20 when I had last checked 6 years ago, so I figured it should be around twice that now. Some people are selling them for $32, some for $55..... so I guess it mostly depends on the condition of the card.

Wow...that's a great deal.
Two or three years ago, I bought over a thousand assorted cards (from baseball, to basketball and football, and even some hockey) for a hundred bucks...some guy was selling it through a newspaper advert down by VA Beach. Many of the cards were crap...but mixed in were several Jordon cards from Chicago, as was the Carolina Jordon card...among some other decent stuff.
The guy, obviously, didn't know what he had...or he wouldn't have been selling the whole lot for a hundred bucks.
Other than that, haven't even seen the new types of cards they have today. I think I became disinterested when they started costing $2.50+ per pack,
Yea, really. I look at cards sometimes...but when a pack of twelve-fifteen pack of cards costs as much as a six-pack of High life....well, let's just say I've got my priorities in order.

Neither did the guy I was buying from. I dug through the sets and picked out several 5-$10 cards, stuck em in cases, and stowed the rest of the commons away with the other 30-some-odd thousand puds.

Amen :)

Yeah, Upper deck ran a thing in 1998 or 1999....I can't remember when exactly.... where you could get an insert card with part of a players jersey woven into it. The odds were about 25,000 : 1, but still... how gimmicky do you need to be? It probably wasn't just the gimmicks that sidelined my interest in collecting (plastic cards, die-cut cards, connect-two-cards-to-make-one-card cards, scratch and win cards, etc.) but that's what stands out most.

Yeah, dude... Best of luck, but I don't think you're going to win. The funny thing is, Altr is like, WE NEED TO DO A WINO OFF! Like I could have a flying fuck chance of beating Altr in a wino contest! I threw up three nights ago from drinking too much wine, and I wasn't even COMPETING with anyone! Anyway, *pats on the back* FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT!

I once had a Mike Jordan rooke-- GAWD, what was I thinking about giving to my next door friend? (Who has moved since then...)
I have a Shaq rookie, but it's pretty much cheap. I keep though... and I have a Jason Kidd rookie somewhere.
I have stupid things too-- Simpsons 1st edition comic. Batman Forever Corn Pops box... collectors plates... but they're all in boxes. I've been giving cards to my older cousins (although I don't collect cards anymore, the thought of my younger cousins treating my old collect, in mint collection, like a pack of Pokemon cards makes me cringe.)
I'm keeping the rest when I have a son or daughter.

1) HPs suck large balls. You people have no idea what you are talking about. I told my parents to buy one because they are cheap, but it definitely wasn't worth it. The piece of shit didn't even come with a recovery CD. It has a fucking disc partition. There is all of this bullshit hp crap running continously in the background.. The DVD-rom is starting to die scarcely a year after buying it. The audio card is fucking up - the sound skips. All the time. And it's not a systems resource thing either.
If you're going to buy a PC, buy a decent name brand. IBM, Sony. Hell, even a fucking Dell. Not a shitty HP or Compaq. Or one of these real shitters.. "eMachines"? Don't even think about buying a cheapo no-name from Cali. Geh. *shudders*
Better yet, buy a Mac. My free Mac Mini will be shipped out any day now. Then we can burn this HP piece of shit. Or better yet, sell it to some poor, unsuspecting sap on ebay.
2) Funk doesn't look scary.
3) I heard that Hunter S. Thompson would shoot propane tanks for fun? Awesome.
4) Going to start looking around for a nice 22 for my birthday. Parents still aren't hot about the idea, but what the hell.
5) Saab still isn't totally fixed. From 2.5k to 4k rpm, the thing bucks and has no accel. But I found by downshifting, at about 4k it takes off and accelerates perfectly fine. Nice and hard. It's fucked up. Also starting to leak anti-freeze, and there's a ticking from the engine. I hate working on cars. Want it to last through college though.
6) I can't stand cavaliers. But hey, whatever.
7) Saw "Crash" in the theater today, for mother's day. It was O-K. Interesting. Great cast. A bit too... I don't know. Will get back to you with the word I want. Still waiting to read Hitchiker's before seeing it. Will check it out of the library tomorrow.

I'm on b33r six. I'm reaching teh dr0nkn plateau, from which no true 1337 may fall. Hammering down a six pack in one night is plenty if ALTR isn't going to put up a challenge.
I've also had a couple of dugout bowls, though, so I guess I working my way up there one the "SHIT! HOW MUCH CAN THIS GUY DRINK AND SMOKE IN ONE DAY!!???!" category.
Meh, I'm still pretty much lucid. I guess it's a kind of skill, really, to maintain this level of coherency. Or maybe I just think better dr0nkn. I know I wrote all my papers stoned, and I did pretty damn well all said.

Don't bother seeing the movie.
The theoretical science leaves alot left to be desired, meaning there really isn't any.
There isn't enough Monty Python British humor to be a good comedy.
The galaxy and hot it works isn't really that interesting.
And it just becomes a love story later on.
I was left wondering if it was meant for either really smart children, or really immature adults.
