just for the record, i happen to like the unnamed person you all seem to dislike. she's got tiffs with people, but overall she's a good person. and i dont think its too nice to be ragging on somebody who's not in here to defend themselves.

well, thats all i've got to say on that subject. sorry if you dissagree.

Yeah but I've ragged on her up front so she knows what I think. There are many people who say stuff about her without her knowing, but I'm not going to name any names. I just think it's funny how so many people share my same opinion on her and what not, so I finally came out and spoke my mind.

Nobody can deny she has a ton of problems that she needs to work out with herself, because she's extremely fucked up. Sorry I can't think of a better word than "fucked up", but that's the only way I can put it. Basically, she is very childish still. At her age she should be much more mature than she is. She has a lot of growing up to do... I don't mean mature by how someone acts, because I act like a goof-ass all the time, but it's like her brain hasn't fully developed into a mature thinking stage. I don't know how to explain it, it's hard to think of the words to describe it.

All I know is, I've been up front with my opinions on her, and I'll always tell her straight up what I'm thinking.

I've been refurbished and reissued, prepackaged and precooked, decontaminated and deloused, but I still smell, sound, look and feel like shit.

Yea, so I know your post wasn't directed at me...and I don't mean to butt into your business. But I've got serious issues with that 24 show.

Now, I know, when watching a fictional display, that one is to suspend disbelief. And I try, with that show...I really do. But, every show is suppossed to be an hour out of a day, right? And the seasons complete the entire day, correct?

Every single hour, this crazy shit is going down, with the same handful of people. EVERY SINGLE HOUR. These muhfuckers don't eat, or sleep, or rest, or take bathroom breaks. The characters in the show push on, hour after hour, episode after episode...and experience not a bit of fatigue. Every episode is like this.
If it's not terrorists kidnapping family members, it's a weapon of mass destruction. If it's not a weapon of mass destruction, it's terrorists with over-inflated world domination plots. If it's not terrorists with over-inflated world domination plots, it's drama within the chain-of-command (which often resembles a more militarized version of the plots from daytime soaps) that, axiomatically, leads to trouble for the main character while he's 'in the field'.

My point, I guess, is that I'd almost rather watch a marathon of Ellen...than watch a single episode of 24.

well, i talk to her once in a while. and i see no reason for me to dislike her. so what if she's a little slow or whatever? yes, she's got problems and she needs to work it out. but just mocking her for it wont help a damn thing. in fact it'd probably just make it worse.

and at least your up front, i'd rather have somebody tell me to my face that they dont like me and give me reasons why. that way i can adjust my own faults, or just say "fuck you" if they're an ass about it.

to every person their own opinion, i dont mean to change yours you probably have perfectly good reason to dislike her. i was just saying how i felt on the subject because i dont like to see a good person be ragged on by so many people when they aren't around.

Yeah but I've ragged on her up front so she knows what I think.

Either way, it isn't very.....what's the word..... ...commendable, bitching about her here, especially after someone attempted to keep it between the folks who already knew.

What does making it public do for you?

Yes to all.

Well perhaps that is why they dont have the same character in every scene. Sometimes you dont see them for over 20 minutes. Theya rent gonna put Jack having a shit while eating a sandwhich on. If you watch closer to the end of the seasons you find they start getting fatigued at points (when adrenaline kicks in it disapates). But they do get tired near the end. Hell in season 1 he falls asleep in his chaior whiel hiding fromt eh cops.

If it's not terrorists kidnapping family members, it's a weapon of mass destruction. If it's not a weapon of mass destruction, it's terrorists with over-inflated world domination plots. Would you rpefer a show watching them do paperwork for hours, or nothign remotely exciting. Yes it seems unrealistic, but does any of us know what people like this do, and this isnt plausable. Some of it is, some of it snt. Friends they sit in a coffee shop all day and lead very exciting lives. Its fiction.

My point, I guess, is that I'd almost rather watch a marathon of Ellen...than watch a single episode of 24.

To each their own.

Hey somebody already made you a new sig, you could have at least posted something to inform us who are too lazy to reload the page and check. And to think I slaved over a hot stove for nearly 20 minutes just for you. I don't know what I was doing with the stove but I wish I made cookies.

My sig gives the illusion that it's photoshopped.

Seriously, it's not a long story, or even too exciting. My girlfriend went to a college nearby, and she came over one day to go swimming at my college. When we're done, we go to the locker room for a shower, and one thing led to another. The fun part was trying to stay quiet.

I wouldn't say overmodderated, but the number of mods online at any given time has increased considerably. I remember when I first joined and being online at the middle of the night, I would almost never see a single mod online. Nowadays I've checked out the BBS at 4 and 5 in the morning (NG time) and found two or more mods around.

However since the beginning of the year don't we have somewhere between 5-7 new mods? Obviously these guys are doing a good job, but I think we have reached a good level of MOD-dom so I'd be suprised to see many more people get modded yet this year.

Out of curiosity, what is the regulation here on "political compass" posts? One was locked yesterday, and one just showed up. I don't want to post in a topic that will be locked, so I'm asking.

I generally leave the poli compas threads alone unless there happen to be, for instance, three created at nearly the same time.

I have no idea regarding the who/why of that compass thread being locked.

So yeah... Summary: I don't care, someone else might (Althought I don't really see why)

Sorry, I know that didn't help one bit.
