3.93 / 5.00 4,634 ViewsAfter playing ps2, xbox, gamecube, xbox 360 for so many years, I am not very impressed. I am also not much more impressed with what nintendo or sony is coming up with next. Just pretty much the same-old same-old. So I must ask the question that has been asked thousands of times before: Cartridge Consoles, great consoles or the GREATEST consoles?
I have no idea what you are talking about. Are you asking if we prefer catridge based consoles or disc based consoles? Or the cartridge age/CD age?
:)
Indeed, the best game are on nintendo console, NES, SNES and N64.
OR
Famicom, Famicom+dick system, Super Famicom, N64
NES - Classic, one of the greatest
SNES - Classice, one of the greatest
N64 - Great console
Sega Genesis - Good console
All the others are really worth mentioning, unless u go back to atari or 3do.
I really hope that the Gameboy line never stops using cartridges.
No loading, FTW!
All cartridge based concoles have been incredible.
NINTENDO 64 FOR THE FUCKING WIN!
It's true.

Lol nice, well yeah i will agree that they are great but not the greatest, note TPS1 vs. THUG Tony hawk pro skate 1 was cool and all but you didn't have as much customizable stuff
or Donkey Kong Vs. Paper Mario 2 but some times they do win over like Paper Mario Vs. Paper Mario 2 in any case, most console games were nintendo so we can implie that nintendo is better than today's games by your logic neh? yeah. oh but i think alot of todays games rock the old world of consoles, no matter what.

Seconded, so many great games were made for it.
The only downside:
*Puts cartidge in*
Me: ...
*Takes it out. blows into the cartridge*
Me: Arg.
*Puts cartidge in*
Me: What the fuck? It's not showing!!
* Takes cartidge out and blows on it once again*
Me: Son of a bitch...
*REPEAT UNTIL YOU GOT IT WORKING*
Other than that, cartidge games own. :D
Well, I'll have to say the majority of cartridge consoles at least have better games than CD based ones. The NES, SNES, N64, Genesis, GB line, and the DS were all great. Although the PS2 was also great.
:)
