Basing your opinions on popularity is a slavish modus operandi no matter which way you slice it. There's a lot of legitimate reasons to hate the organisation, why criticize people for it? Did you stop to consider that maybe it's a popular opinion because Bauman is a clear-cut thief who steals from people who can't afford to be stolen from?

Well people convert the internet into a small business and can live off of it, while others make portfolios and whatnot to get them good jobs and all that jazz. I'm pretty sure if some of their goods got taken, had their names taken off and had a watermark placed over it and got no credit for the work they put into it, they should be entitled to hating the people who went through the proccess and gave them no credit afterwards. I'm pretty sure anyone in the top 50 or anyone else for that matter would want my head if I took their stuff and put it on my site and never gave the credit that's due to them. Now take that example, replace my name with Eric Bauman and exponentially increase the people involved. Yes, everyone hates, Ebaumsworld.com.

He makes money off of advertising. The bigger the site, the more money you get from sponsers. If Bauman steels all of the videos on a certain site, he can make money off of the videos even though they're not his creations. His site would gain money and the site that he stole from would loose money.

I have to say anyone who likes EbaumsWorld is either a dork or ignorant that Newgrounds and YouTube exist. I think if we could just convince people not to go to Ebaumsworld not to speak of it we may put Bauman out of business. Bauman already makes money on the videos. Because people visit his site, the advertising companies pay him to have advert space. Thus, the "other people" are having their work used to make someone else quite rich. Thus, its stealing.
