people say all the time that the second coming of jesus will occur really soon. Lets assume for all intensive purposes that this happend a while ago. Wouldn't we all think the guy is a nut and starting up a cult and we would try to hunt him down and throw him in jail?

I don't believe that jesus has already made his second coming. The leaders of these cults were NUTS!!! One guy decided that everyone in his cult should kill themselves so they could ride to heaven on a rocket ship hidden behind the tail of a commet. But if he did make his second coming, I'm sure a lot of people would doubt him, and think he's nuts. It happened in his first coming.

He'd probably get his own show as an escapologist, but then people would complain because God kept interfering and sending down angels and shit.
