You'd also have to explain how a guy can hover a mouse cursor over a robot from a screen away. IT'S A GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME...

Though I do believe if you used mouse.hide(); somewhere in your actionscript and made a sword movieclip which followed the mouse cursor whereever it went, I believe you could replicate the 'hovering sword' effect.

And from there, something about making an animation so that 'moving' the mouse will make the sword 'move' as well. Like, gotoAndStop(2); where the second frame of your sword clip is in fact another movie clip with a hovering sword slashing... or something.

Any help?

sword truely isn't the best idea, but a high calibre sniper rifle or a rocket launcher should make it quite clear

Fair enough. I just suggested it because the idea of Breakout came to mind, which could be played using a mouse as the paddle and... yeah, you get the idea. Like I said, fair enough.

We have 50 games total thus far, but only 25 have been approved. Get those games fixed so I can raise the amount of games you get paid for! Once again, if your game is not on here, please resend it, or get online so we can talk. Next update, I will be calculating total Mouse Games, Variable Games, etc. so people can start developing in the low areas.

Heh, who knows. Most of the filesize gets taken up by sound effects. And if it goes over you can always ask Wade for more upload space. I'm pretty sure this series has gotten popular enough to warrant an extra 1 or 2 megabyte wait.

wats wrong with the code? there is a glitch that if u go 2 fast and then it stops, after that you wont be able to move. but by the time the turtles done resting becuz of too fast, time will be up. so is there any other prob with the code?

The if(_root.cstatus == 1) { makes the code not trigger until the game is ready to be played (after the game transitions on the screen, and the rules show). Your game starts immediately, which means you do not have enough time to see the screen and see the rules.

Make it so that your code does not run until _root.cstatus == 1; If you don't, then the game starts early.

did u get the email? wat i did was in the MC i made 2 frames. first frame shows everything but all broken apart. then i gave the frame this code:

stop();
if (_root.cstatus == 1) {
play();
}

so then on the second frame it has evrything working and all. and theres a stop() command on the frame. so will that work? becuz itll take a long timeto get that into almost every single line of code. also, wats wrong with no 4, and no. 7. u sed the code doesnt work. wich code?

nice. but make it so that u cant hit it wen the hearts behind the buildings. cuz it just acts as if the building isnt there. also dont for to stop ppl from cheating (tab)

Well, when I look at it, i'm 13. I do have alot of friends and a social life, but alot of the time when i'm at home I just sit around for hours on flash producing nothing. I just think I need to be doing something different.

However, I will do a game or two for this collab. I'm just stuck for ideas atm :)

YAY! Anyway, as far as updates go with me... I think I'm gonna have to resend the Portal of Light one to ya jmtb, I found a small glitch in it (nothing that'll ruin teh collab, I didn't even really notice it until I looked at the script).

I'm making a game with -fuzzz- that I'm really enjoying :D I'd post a preview, but idk how -fuzzz- feels about posting unfinished work (I don't wants to get him mad and lose his amazing talents!)

But I also made another game, gotta fix it a lot, but basically, use the mouse to shoot the arrow and hit the target. (Looking for artist, think I found one but idk if its definite yet)

Really Early Version (If you just barely pull the arrow back and let go, you'll see why I'm not happy with the engine yet :'()

Ok well I am new at AS and i was Just wondering what the code would be to make it so u need to click the arrow instead of hold it.(Key.isDOWN(Key.LEFT)) LIke what should i change the Down action too. To get it so you need to click the arrow key. Thanks

Wow that was a Quick response but.... it still did the same thing. I still can hold the left to make it move multiple times. Do I need to do any thing with the accual mC im trying to move.

Some nice looking games in here, I will start making another tomorrow with a fellow brit artist. We're looking for ideas, so any help would be cool in the think tank area, but we're gonna do something witty. And hopefully it'll look sweet too.
