WIP Game #1
I need some AS help. As in the whole '_root.gameOutcome' deal. Any takers?
Makes me grin.
Love the idea and art.

Bezman, "r u" like british or somethin? Because thats Ron Weasley's catch phrase and he's british as well!
Glasgow is in Scotland, which is in Britain.
Didn't realise Ron Weasley had a catch phrase. Am a fan of the books and don't remember him saying that. (Though he may well have done so.) Is it featured heavily in the films?

Cool idea. Bear in mind that though most will know it because of media, 9-1-1 might be unfamiliar to those outside the US.
Also, I think the gfx could be a lot cleaner...

Impressive list. Surprised you linked to my pics. Was getting ready to chide you. ;-)

I'm not saying it's hard. More that it seems unfair. You're given no warning and so folk are practically guaranteed to lose on their first go. Whether they move up at the end has practically nothing to do with skill or reaction time (given that we get about 2 frames warning) - it's really about prior knowledge.
Maybe shrink everything and have the hammer curve round on-screen?
i dont think ill be able to do that by the way i have my MC's. ill try though.
Good luck. Should be do-able.
I think you should allow 1s of reaction time (for folk to see what it is and remember what they need to do).
ya, they'll get a few seconds to see the stuff while its loading. wen ts in the real thing(if it gets there)then it should work fine :D
im out of ideas for games.... ill probly think of sumthing in a few minutes.... :'(
Do one where you need to drag a penis in and out of a melon. Or not.
Incidentally, did you try the code?

heh, maby for my next game. One of the things that made warioware fun was the fact that some of the games had purposely horrible graphics. Contact me on AIM
True. Kinda.
Whilst some of them were drawn like a child's crayon drawing or whatever, they were all internally consistent and actually well designed, visually speaking.
Only played the original though.
Anyway, I personally think the disappearing of the goo needs an extra few frames, but that's just my op.

If the artwork is unique to you, then go ahead and reuse it. I was just worried that people would take some old game they had, stick an extra four variables in it, and call it done.
Basic idea and basic code is fine... just not sticking your whole game into a new fla file and bundling it as a new game. In fact, if you have not even submitted the game yet, don't worry about it at all. We are just going for originality in this game.
Thanks for the clarification. Clears up everything.

Do you realise that there's a full game based on short levels just like that?
I believe it's also called 'Count the Stars'. Not on NG but linked to on JayisGames.
No I didn't realize that, but I think it will be alright anyway. Unless the graphics are very coincidentally similar, in which case I can change them.
You're right. Not a problem.
I remember the gfx being very different.

Ignore the red number, it wont be in the final game, it just tells you if you win or not cause there's no flashy writing.
i think the thumb animation needs to be a little shorter, it gets hard when they all trow at once because by the time you get all three clicks in they are throwing again
Awesome fun game. I second that cc.

Don't A Splode!
I'm aware that the crustacean in game 6 can still move when it's dead, but it won't be able to once its in the engine.
Also - you can run into the fork when it's on the ground and die. Maybe only hitTest when it's falling?
I know you said just after that you like this feature, but it'll seem like a bug when/if it's encountered.
Car game is a nice idea, but too easy - none ever come at the sides. Maybe make it totally retro, with 3 lanes/positions and instant movement, having the mines/whatever come in one of those 3?
