But in other news I got my 6th and 7th FCs today :D Cherry Pie and Soy Bomb, I honestly didn't expect either of these, epic day for my GH career. However, I went postal earlier because I finally hit the trills in Radium Eyes' last guitar solo, got all the way to the last 3 notes and miss note 529/530 leaving me with a -1 (I HATE THOSE OH GOD RAAAGE). Now I can't hit the trills again and it's driving me crazy.

does radium eyes have a solo. me and my friend were having some tense battles on GH2 yesterday. we were both used to number 3 so we decided to switch to 2 for a bit. GH3 is also reaally easy for me now, i can 100% most stuff if i put my mind to it. yesterday it was welcome to the jungle and cities on flame with rock and roll.

Alright, two songs left to 5-star on expert before I have them all five-starred.
Knights Of Cydonia
and...
Raining Blood (funnily enough)
Anyone have advice for these?

A friend of mine told me that the track list for gth4 has been leaked. I was pissed and told him I don't want to hear it or read any of it.

Guess who played GH2X the other day. <__<
NEW ACCOMPLISHMENTS! THE FIRST IN 10 PAGES OMG
1. I FC'd Bad Reputation (solo 2D isn't that hard lol) 2. I FC'd Psychobilly Freakout (this song sucks when you have to restart after overstrumming a single time.) 3. 8 starred Last Child (I can squeeze a little? <_<) 4. got 334,400 points on heart shaped box in literally my first squeezing attempt ever.

fcpremix... I really wish my ps3 shittar didn't lag so much because this looks like the type of song I'd really like to try to grind out and fc.

That's my favorite type of song! I love trying to FC songs with crazy strummy parts although Aggro may be a little too crazy for me.

Fucking great! I was busy getting towards my perfect on Cliffs of Dover, when my girlfriend goes and blows the cooker up, cutting the power to the house.
The screams of the damned in Worcestershire were particularly harrowing last night. Especially as I dropped a large block of wood on my foot while trying to clear a path to the fuse box >:(

Go get one of those backup power supply's that look like a huge black cinder block power strip. It runs on 24 D sized batteries and can supply your whole home theatre set up with about 5 to 15 minutes of power after your main power goes out. No more girlfriend ruining your GTH anymore.

It might be worth a try, but unfortunately that's an expense that I can't incur at this time - no money until 2009 :(

What does everyone think of the Guitar Hero IV setlist? I think they went to mainstream, but they have some good songs, like Prisoner Of Society and Satch Boogie. No Buckethead though. And they better have some really good DLC (20 free songs at least) like Rock Band 2.

I like it. Better than Rock Band 2, but still not as good as Guitar Hero or Guitar Hero 2.
Joss Whedon (Buffy, Firefly, Dr. Horrible etc.) Crew. You're sure the other one's contained? DVD thread.

Personally I'd say that, as far as a main set lists go, they've gone about as mainstream as Guitar Hero 3. They don't have a bonus set list full of obscure songs, but I'd rather they get more big name songs than show us how hip they are with a lot of small label bands. Not to knock any of the bonus bands, but despite there being some amazing songs like Impulse, Down and Dirty and FCPREMIX they've always been hit-or-miss for me.

Yeah, I think for bonus songs they should have 75% small bands and 25% big bands, since the entire main setlist is pretty much big bands. But they have a lot of bands in the game that I wouldn't want (Paramore, Tokio Hotel... ) >:(
I also don't know if there are any really hard songs in the game.
