No, it's not completely inaccurate.
The thing you ALL missed about that article's tirade was this:
He was getting a new PC each time, on both OS platforms.
Comparing the cost maintenance, without all the paid for virii protection and spyware, etc, on the PC, XP is still, more expensive to maintain.
However, in this article, Iíll ignore the software Apple bundles with new Macs and focus only on the actual costs related to keeping the OS up to date, both for Macs and Windows PCs.
What's so fucking hard to understand, did none of you read the entire article, or just browse it? Sure it was biased, and the author was a douche to begin with, but come on, you can't ignore the painful truth.
It was one example, not how every single person treats their machine, it was also geared towards business, not home users. Grow the fuck up, and get a life.
