I just make a big black box MC, make the alpha 100%, then tween it to 0%. There might be a better way though.

I just made a component with a multitude of actionscript and OOP just for what you need. Click here, and paste the component onto the frame that you want the fade to begin.
Games|1|2|3| Movies|1|2|

Lol I was just kidding, it has no AS on it, just copy the MC into your movie at the frame where you want it to fade.

MC? what does that stand for and what does it mean and what is it (im a noob, help me out here) and where is it located?

Just send me the flash and I'll put the movieclip (MC) in it for you. upload it to www.denvish.net/ul, and PM it to me
if the PM system is still broken, just post it in this thread.

Ok, Put the black box on a layer above all the other layers, and select the box. Go to the color mixer (side panel), and where it says alpha, pull the slider down to 0. Then right click your first frame of the black box, select create motion tween. Then add another keyframe about ten frames into your fade out, and on that frame, make the black box 100% alpha.
Also, your not a company.
