I keep seing soo many topics about why <insert username here> loves/hates school. Why isnt there just one genral thread about it?

So here it is. Why do you love/hate school.

For me I am a colleg student.

a total of about 15 hours a week in class and out of that mabey 7hours of actuall working.
I sit in front of a computer in every class.(web design, Programming devlopment, and a labtop during history 108) I am only in school 4 days a week and not that long either. I can choose to come to class or stay home. My classes are fucking easy. So that is why I love school.

I am a student Headed into 8th Grade. I hate school because I don't see why 13 years of school is neccesary to prepare us for a world Where anyone could make a Million dollars at any time. Besides, a lot of people go to collage so they can learn how to use/better themselves at Flash, or Site Design, So on and so forth, and that could help them at least attempt to make a living off newgrounds while They work for some miniscule company that a majority of the world Has never heard of (But everyone in India has, since Tech Support is cheaper over there.) But they still manage to make a Solid $4500 a Week. It's people like this that piss me off because they do things they enjoy, and actually make money. But, just now, I realised this: I enjoy doing lots of shit on the Computer, why not become one of those people I hate? Although. I still hate school, at least for now. -- Biggest post in a while. =)

lol, I'm going to college my second year (I went to college during my senior year in highschool, so I got college for free =D). I'm taking one business class and three comp classes (two of which are online. 4 hours of class monday and wednesday, and 2 hours on friday ^^

I loved school, except for the homework bit.

Mind you I never had to do squat in class. I slept in most classes, skimmed the textbook when I needed to know something important for a test, and still managed to keep a 92% average. I wish I could go back for another year.

Why do I hate school, you ask?

It's basically purgatory on Earth. Everyone's out there to get me. I'm in there 7 hours a day, either dealing with stupid fucktards or annoying and overly demanding teachers. To make matters worse, our teachers give me tons of homework, giving me much less free time at home.

Not to mention, I don't have any friends there. My school is filled with wannabe "gangstas" obsessed with rap, money and guns.

I fucking hate school.

i detest school. i ve better things to do. the worst part is the chairs. there not chairs. there large hunks of plastic and metel,poory shaped in the human sitting form. and the teachers chairs are great!. why cant the students have nice chairs?

The reasons I love going to school:

I'm a 4th year university student. I'm almost done. Eight months until graduation and a Bachelor's Degree.

I study what I have a true passion for. I choose everything that I want to study and I really found my niche with physical geography.

Classes and labs are fun beyond all belief.

I have an awesome (and large) group of friends.

I think that a person can never learn enough, and I absolutely love learning about new things. And university is all about learning new things.

School = awesome.

I'm getting a BES (Bachelor of Environmental Studies), hopefully going on to either a MSc (Master of Science) or MES (Master of Environmental Studies) program after next year. I just hope i can get into grad school.
