go start off with FruityLoops or Reason Paragonx9 uses Reason mixed with all kinds of things he made a thread about it then he made another about people bugging him.

yeah i got fruity loops, started it, played around for a few minutes and havent opened it since. To make quality music you have to have talent and a MIDI keyboard REALLY helps. And by the way i know im making a lot of ParagonX9 fans mad but... His techno is just... sub-par. Everyone look up Dimrain47 in the audio portal and you'll see why ParagonX9 is so overrated. Sorry people he has talent, his music just doesnt sound as good as it should with all the hype about him.

What tells you he has not mass-downloaded himself? What i mean is not to look at the score or the downloads, but to listen his tracks. Then, you could figure if he deserves his scores.

And everyone has their opinions so you can't say he is better unless there was some kind of meter invented to test talent for creating quality music. Then you might be able to say that. But until the time comes...Paragon, in my opinion is better.

Listen to Paragons stuff. You've got unique samples, diversity, and and he knows what hes doing. Everything in his songs are great.

Listen to Dimrain. Hes got some nice riffs, (even though they sound as random as shit) and the songs are farily diverse, but his capabilities in mastering and overall 'not finding better samples, or at least editing them a bit basically doesn't exist in his music.

Don't judge by downloads/ratings. Judge by skill.

I think they both have their qualities, and their Vices..I find Dimrain doesn't have as many different samples (or at least the sound the same), but for some reason I can't stop listening to his music. I listened to ParagonX9 as well, and he's pretty good, and more ppl would use him in flash submissions for his awesome loops. Dimrain47 also has a Myspace music account :P, with a song not heard on NG and TRUST ME, this song is WORTH IT! it's called Surface..and I personally think it's his BEST song yet...
As for what program they use, I have no clue...I could do SO much better with a decent program :(...stupid PSONE samples...ergh..lol. but it's what I'm stuck with for the moment...you can do some pretty cool stuff with it, but it has it's limits.. :P
