Please. No one really gives a shit anymore. Quit bitching and perhaps write "If This Flash is Being Viewed on Another website But Newgrounds, It is Stolen." on the bottom of the screen. Jesus Christ, grow the fuck up. They are just cartoons.

And if you are going to say "How would you feel if blah blah blah", well, I don't make flash because I actually have better things to do.

Well, most of the content isn't property of Newgrounds. I am unable to sue someone on behalf of Metallica or anything. Newgrounds could probably threaten them pretty bad for the TANKMEN stuff, though, which could scare them off and get them to get rid of their flash section.

Actually reguardless of the fact the content is not copywrite protected, threatening to sue may make them give up, also, if newgrounds gets in court if they have enough witnesses testifying that that person stole their animations and that stealing off NG
was causing the website to lose money then that WOULD be a good reason for the
court to recognize their case and order the website to take the material off or suffer
the consequences.

Blah blah blah. You only speak for yourself and not a body of Newgruonds users. Since you don't make flash, I can put it into perspective of something you may understand and relate to: What if you and your boyfriend's gay porn site had its videos of you and him 69ing and snowballing stolen and put on someone else's gay porn site and took credit/made money off of it? Same basic principal, only our situation is less gay (in most cases).

I just realized something, you all complain about eBaums and stealing and I saw someone use the word "piracy" but how many of you use Limewire? If someone uses Limewire and complains about someone stealing there stuff that's hypocrisy, no?

Perhaps it's not so much the site itself that's stealing material, rather the users submitting content. Either way, it's pretty sickening to see NG exclusives blatantly ripped off the site in order for this jackass to pay off a couple bills.

Well, you corrected it, so it's forgiven.

Anyway, your point about Limewire users: for one, the things being shared are made by people who are known and make money off them anyway. With flash, most of us are nobodies who get known through them and probably make nothing off them. If they're making themselves known through it, people will think they made it, which isn't fair. If everyone knew it was made by whatever person, it normally wouldn't matter. That's not saying that credits will do the trick, though. You know when you see a Simspons clips that it's from The Simpsons. You see a cartoon and it says "by Ryan Brown" you go, "who the fuck is Ryan Brown?!" Plus, no one claims that they made a Simpsons clip or distorts wording to make it seem like they did, which happens a lot to flash authors. Point #2, Music artists and stuff don't actually make money off sold CD's. They make maybe 2 cents per sale, if that. Three, I have no problem with people downloading my videos off of Limewire (if it were to ever happen), I have a problem with some dickcheese trying to get famous off of it, and even moreso to make money off of something I made for others for free. People who download off Limewire or something don't make money off of it, they just don't spend money. Four, pirating is gay. So is stealing. So even if your point was valid, it'd still be gay.

Well, actually, browsers like Maxthon just have a little button that saves the flash files. Plus I've seen programs that just save all the flash files you load.
