Bible and Christian beliefs aside, pornography is a dangerous tool of sexual predators. Porn perceives women as dirty whores that enjoy having male fluids spattered on them, enjoying swallowing male fluids, enjoying being treated like a whore during intercourse and enjoying being humilated to point where not only you can be satisfied but they whole process of being treated like some sex toy somehow made you climax. Reality check: real women that respect themselves hate porn of all kind because once a man is addicted to porn, he perception of sex with a real woman is screwed. Therefore, whatever kind of mind a man has at the beginning, that is violent already, can be completely damaged into thinking of woman as just that : sex toys. This leads to rape and mistreatment of woman by strangers or their boyfriends. This also encourages spousal abuse. Pornography doesn't help someone's sex life, it hinders it.

Let's also mention the use of hentai, which is possibly more dangerous than live action porn because it used to lure children to a child molestors grubby hands.

You also forgot to mention hentai does not have any real-world-physics as constraints therefore the only limits are the mind, the markers and pencils and the wrists of the ctreator.

Oh and to answer the question, porn is not a crime because it is a form of freedom of expression which can't be proven to have any direct consequences on a person unlike tobacco giving someone cancer.

I'm not talking about the use of hentai for adults, I talking about peophiles using cartoon porn to lure children. The mind of child is impressionable. Cartoons are cartoons to them. Once molested they go on to have some negative behavior, including things like murder, rape, and/or drugs.

A wholly agree porn has it's negative sides, I may even go as far to say that its negatives outweigh it’s positives. But i also believe it would be undemocratic or unconstitutional to ban it.

I don't believe in banning porn! I just said I don't think highly of it. I don't like racism either, but for the government trying to ban freedom of speech rights, I think that's wrong.

There are lots of people out there who have high sex drives. For example, me. I need porn. Without it, I'd probably be out there raping and murdering people. Watching porn (even child porn, bestiality and necrophilia) is a private act done for one's personal pleasure and it harms no one. Banning it won't do any good.
