and
- Reason 3.0
What's the best out of these two? And where do I go next?

It's all a matter of preference. What are you planning on doing with music? Are you going to be using audio tracks as well as midi tracks?
The best option is to ReWire them together. By ReWiring Reason into FL, you have the ability to use both products together.

Good work :D
lol
Like David said, ReWiring is your best option. Whats the point of using one program if you bought them both?

hehe yeah, the friendly man at the shop offered me a deal for both of them, and he thoroughly assured me that it was some hot shit.
Well, whatever he said, it sounded good.
Now I just need to learn how to use these fandagled programs.

Learn Reason first. Then, after you learn it (at least LOOSELY) and then you just go to FL, and its exactly the same... just a slightly more easier to use sequencer, and you don't have to wire everything yourself :P
Who knows maybe you'll become more attached to one or the other.

That's one.
FL is for amateurs and up, Reason for intermediate and up. Also, FL has VSTi support and Reason hasn't

Gasp! A Newgrounder with a steady income! Judgment Day is upon us!
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
