Connect all the drives and turn the computer on. Then go to My documents/program files/video card.

Click on the video card option and wait as the computer resets. And it should work!

Of course it didn't, he made it up to see if you try it. We don't even know what you're trying to do. A video card will work on its installed computer regardless of how many hard drives you install onto the computer.

Does your second hard drive have an OS installed too? Just do what you did installing the video card into the first hard drive then.

the video card's installed on the first hard drive. i accidentally disabled it and now there's no display on the first hard drive. i was wondering if there was a way to reenable the card on the first drive without having to miraculously navigating on a blank screen

Not that I know of. Try plugging the monitor into the mobo video card if there's one. Then going to display settings to switch the signal to the actual video card.

lolz, i'd try installing a 2nd vid card and hope it moves to using that the 1st thing you turn it on.

also, you sure the power supply is strong enough? I once had a 140 watt supply that couldn't feed my all-in-wonder.

make sure all your drivers are installed. if you have a cd that came with your video card, make sure you install the drivers off that disc. if your trying to run SLI mode, make sure you have SLI activated in your motherboard bios. If you have an onboard chipset, make sure you have it disable in your bios, before using a PCI,AGP,PCIE card. one last thing, the system bios, can be accessed by pressing delete or f1 (this can vary) when you first turn on your computer. consult your manual before changing settings, beacuse u can really f**k up your computer. One last thing, if you cant find the drivers from a disc, get the drivers from the web. you new install also may be missing your motherboard drivers, so to check and see what your missing, go to start, control panel, SWITCH TO CLASSIC VIEW, system. then go to hardware, device manager. this will list all your comptuers hardware, and will let you see what needs to be installed.
Any questions, contact me at cessna310q@yahoo.com.
good luck!!
